I use this dry for my water based foundation and it works amazingly. I love that the bottom is flat so I can go over larger areas. It doesn't soak up all my product either which is my favorite. I will definitely continue to buy these.

Lasts forever if you keep it clean!
The last time I bought a Real Techniques sponge was so long ago I don't even remember. I have only used a few brands, including Beauty Blender, but I think this one is just as good or better than the others. And it's still a great value even if the price has gone up in the last couple years.I clean my sponge every single day after I use it, but I will say it soaks up foundation o it never comes completely clean. After the better part of a year, or maybe longer, I finally felt like the surface was compromised from repeated cleanings and buildup, so I caved and bought a new one! And ta da! Flawless finish again!
