Kia UA011-TU5014SWPA Touch-Up Paint Pen (- Snow White Pearl, 1/3 fl oz)

This pain stick comes in handy for those dang bug chips! It dries quickly and matched the paint perfect. The texture is a bit different form the normal paint job, but that is to be expected. Will buy again!

Wish I could give it less than one star. Horrible quality. I should have read the other reviews before ordering. Paint is super thin and barely has any pigment in it. Tried to put it on in 90 degree temp and about 30% humidity and it never would dry even after 12 hours it was still slightly tacky to the touch and when trying to apply a second coat it just made the first coat dissolve. DO NOT BUY.EDIT: After deciding to try a different product because this one sucks I figured I needed to clean this junk off my car. I started with regular isopropyl alcohol and it came right off. No paint should clean up with alcohol. This is ridiculous.

My car had a small surface scratch that went through the paint, but not through the primer. This touch up paint pen did the job it was intended to do perfectly. I can barely tell the scratch was ever there unless I look at the spot very closely.It is important that you follow the instructions under the label on the pen closely before using it. The other end of the pen also includes a clear coat, although the instructions say not to use it unless you wait at least 1-6 hours after applying the paint.It is also worth noting that this pen likely won't work on deep scratches that have gone through the primer, which seems to be one of the main reasons for some of the bad reviews on here. It is not intended to be used for deep scratches, after all, and it even says that on the product listing.

It’s kinda transparent you can see the glitter and all its goodnes but it’s not white enough

Good color match, but the paint is very thin. The best way to apply is to load a little paint on cardboard, then let it sit for a couple of minutes. Then dab the end of the brush into the paint and dab the nick on the car. Only works well with small dings. I had a chip about a quarter inch square and it took me three coats to get it covered. Still, worth the price compared to other similar products.

I bought this product because it’s an OEM touch-up pen and have always had good experiences with OEM paint. This pen is not designed well for touch ups and is challenging to use on small chips. Once you get the paint to come out, it’s transparent and watery, even though I shook it for a while before use. I kept trying and trying, hoping I’d get some thicker, better coverage but it never happened. To use this stuff, you’d need a plain white paint to lay down first and then add this over to get the pearl.Very poor product and very poor customer service (I have yet to get a response to my displeasure and inability to use this pen).
