I bought this pack to try making my own gummy bears. I usually buy gummy bears from Dylans Candy Bar and Lolli and Pops. If you've had Gummy Bears from these stores, this mold makes gummy bears much larger, 1 inch. These molds are very easy to clean and use. I've made 2 batches so far with this mold: champagne and black cherry. The great thing about these molds are they come with a pdf recipe for gummy bears, by making your own, you can avoid all the additives and fillers used in store bought bears. Next time I'm going to try making them with juice and pureed fruit. It's easiest if you place the molds on a baking sheet before you start, so when you move them to the refrigerator it doesnt spill. Highly recommended this product.

This is a perfect beginners kit. The molds are excellent quality, perfect sized (individual cavities AND to my recipe-1/3 cup white grape juice, one 3oz pck Jello & two .25 oz unflavored gelatin-one tray holds right at one recipe) and the different colors are handy. I suggest NOT matching your colors to your molds-The first time, I didn't realize I'd not cleaned all the green gummy candy out of the green mold! Doing different colors are easier to see if you've cleaned them thoroughly. The droppers are nicely sized. I may get a larger dropper (baster) since it's really not efficient to use the small ones if you do this often, but they are great for children and nice to begin with. The gummies pop right out and the silicone is nicely sturdy and so easy to clean. I wanted to repeat a tip I saw and thought was fabulous from another commenter: the store-bought gummies truly are stale, so you can put your fresh gummies into the fridge for a day or so uncovered and they will be much closer to what people are used to, IF that's what you want.

My 8 yo son and I have made 3 batches of gummy bears. These molds are terrific! For our first batch we used apple juice with the great lakes unflavored gelatin and used the recipe provided. I do not like the recipe. The amount of gelatin called for seems like too much as compared to other recipes out there and the instructions weren't very clear. I used maple syrup to sweeten it. My son did not like this at all! The next 2 batches and recipes we found on the internet, we used jell-o with the great lakes gelatin...although I'm not a fan of jello, my son LOVED these next 2 batches. The amount of gelatin was a lot less so maybe that was a difference to him. The gummies popped right out of the molds for all 3 batches. We never had to spray the molds as I have seen recommendations from others. I am very impressed with the molds. I'm just not a fan of the included recipe, which is not a big deal since there are so many other (better) recipes you can find on the internet. I cleaned them just putting them on the top rack of the dishwasher, but they are easily hand washed too! I would highly recommend these molds and they were a great purchase!

I bought a smaller gummy bear tray to make coconut oil supplements for my dog, but I was having to give her several of the smaller bears a day. I searched around, and I came across these larger bears. They are larger, so easier to fill, and they hold a lot more fluid, making for bigger and better bears. I have used these molds already to measure out some coconut oil, but I also whipped up a batch of dog-friendly carob candy for my dog as well. They worked like a charm. They were simple to fill, a breeze to remove the candy from, and washing took no time at all. They were a little bit more work to pop the bears out of this tray than my smaller mold, but that is just because I have abnormally small thumbs and need a double poke to free the bears completely from the big mold, verses the one punch for the smaller mold. I also feared that the poking and plucking would tear the silicone, but they remained intact and ready to be filled again. I like that three droppers were included, which makes filling the molds a lot more convenient. Each bear is about an inch in length, and holds about 0.8 teaspoons, or 4ML. The droppers that come with it hold a little bit more than the molds, you just don't fill the dropper full each time you suck up the fluid. Great product, excellent customer service. I have included photos of the coconut oil bears, and a photo of the carob bears. You can see the smaller size carob bears next to the larger bears for comparison.

Work great. Nice large size bears like you get in store. Come out of molds easy if you turn them inside out with your finger when set up. Clean up fast and easy in hot water.

I make Elderberry Syrup during cold and flu season. I followed a recipe online to make gummy bears out of the syrup. It was so easy. My favorite part of making these is the size - 1 bear is approximately 1 teaspoon, which is one serving size of the syrup. Perfect! The included syringe fills about 3 bears. I filled all three flats of bears in no time and slid them into the fridge. (the recipe recommends putting them in the freezer, however, the fridge works just fine.) It took a little practice popping the bears out of the mold the first time but once I got the hang of it, it went very quickly. The bears can be refrigerated or frozen. I chose to refrigerate 1 flat worth and freeze the other flats in freezer bags. I made enough syrup for about 5-1/2 flats. I am so glad I got the larger size. I can now make either elderberry syrup bears or gelatin bears.

Bought itbt make home made Gu. Worked very well. A little hard to clean with all the crevices but does a great job.

I am pleased with these molds and the 3 droppers that came with them. The droppers make it easy to fill the little compartments with fluid and I found that one dropper full filled one compartment. I really liked the 1" size of the bears as well, any smaller and the compartments would be a challenge to fill. I didn't receive recipes from the company as others did so had to go looking for some on my own. The bears are really easy to get out of the mold and the molds and droppers are very easy to wash.

They work and are nice sized but the silicone ripped in 4 of the same mold after my first batch of gummie bears. Seemed like the last row wasn’t as think as the rest around the feet of the bears.
