Sturdy and works!

These create a very strong connection, as long as the pipes, etc., you are connecting can bear the weight/pressure. I used them to add "arms" on a heavy-duty dolly, so I can use lifting straps to cradle very heavy & large potted plants, so they do not tip severely when I take them down or up stairs.

Just the thing I needed.

I used to add a horizontal pipe crossbar approx 1-3/8 diameter to upright 1 inch emt. Not load bearing. worked perfectly for my application. nuts are 14mm.
