Select Premium Water Repellent & Stain Protector Waterproofing Spray Great for use on Suede Shoes, Sheepskin, Nubuck, and Leather

Worked great on all my winter boots, no discoloration or noticeable changes. Covered leather, fake leather, suede, and knit/canvas kinds of material - including very light grey colors. I definitely saturated my boots to make sure they were evenly covered; the light coating recommended on the bottle didn't seem very practical or realistic, given the quality of the spray top. I didn't really test my good shoes with heavy water exposure (it's not going to turn your shoes into rain boots), but it was enough to protect from unexpected snow/slush and the crazy amount of salt they use on the steps and sidewalks in the city. One bottle worked on about 7 pairs of boots (fully saturated), though most were only low-calf or ankle high. Currently buying another bottle to do my TOMS, leather flats, and suede sneakers for the summer.

I purchased this to protect all of the Ugg boots that my family got for Christmas! :) It sprays on beautifully and dries quickly. None of us have plans to trudge off in a monsoon, but we know that if we are out and it starts to rain, our boots are safe!

It works as advertised. I have given it four stars because I don't know how it compares to other products and because I haven't used it long enough to be able to say whether the good results hold up, but I've used it in my suede boots for a few weeks now and they haven't soaked. I haven't wear my boots on heavy rainfall, but I have walked in them through snow and puddles a few times, as well as some light rain, and there is no sign of soaking. I have applied this product two or three times for good measure, and I think that it works best when you clean up your boots and brush them with a shoe brush. Then proceed spraying the boots very lightly and let the product dry in for an hour or two. Then repeat this process three or four times before wearing them. That's my two pence. Hope this helps other buyers. One of the things that attracted me to this product was that it had an "environmentally friendly" formula, but the ingredients are not listed in the bottle, which is unfortunate.

Non aerosol can is better for the environment. Lasts for several applications. I have sprayed 3 pair of suede & leather boots & slippers for 3 applications each. Could do many more applications with what's left. Most aerosol cans last for 1 application on 1 pair. Fantastic product with great results. Only drawback is continuous pumping of sprayer bothers carpal tunnel. I can deal with that. This leather /suede protection spray far exceeds the quality & quantity of any others I've purchased before.

So I’m an outside sales guy. I get rained on pretty regularly- I got this spray so I wouldn’t have wet dress shoes all day. It doesn’t work sadly. Still had wet shoes even after 2 applications. Should have used another brand…..

I bought this water repellent and stain protector for my newer hiking boots (made with Nubuck leather) and two pairs of suede casual shoes. I was happy to see that there was no discoloration from the product and no chemical smell either. I cannot speak to how well it repels water, but given the other reviews I'm expecting the repellent to do it's job. The spray bottle works well and seems quite efficient. Just spray and wipe down any access product.

I got new suede boots for xmas and I wanted them waterproofed before I wear them...so far 3 coats light mist 30 minutes drying in between. Great product.
