(Franklin) Collins English Dictionary with Thesaurus(Paperback Edition)

Brother in law loves it

The item stopped working within two days. I had to go no line on my apps and order it on line through my app store and get Webster Median. You can get much better on the app store for less. It did not even last a week

This is the paperback version. I would have preferred the full dictionary with more complete derivations but as paperbacks go, this is excellent. It has good, although brief for the most part, derivations, but the derivations and definitions are accurate. It is definitely not a dinky dictionary -- very useful for the vast majority of people, I'd say. It also has a thesaurus and various other things (world time, etc.).

Il Franklin Collins è un Dizionario della sola Lingua Inglese e non può per esempio tradurre English-Italian richiede quindi una conoscenza della suddetta Lingua . Le voci che vengono suggerite sono molto precise ed esaurienti è uno strumento didattico di grande aiuto perfetta la realizzazione con materiali di ottima qualità sicuramente lo ricomprerei . Does it all, puzzle solver, great dictionary and Thesaurus, huge amount of entries and nice large three line display, perfect for those who don't like scrolling through a single line to read the answers. Easy to use once you get used to the little up/down/left/right pad and clear function buttons to switch the mode of the device from dictionary, puzzles etc. Gave it as a present to replace an earlier version of this Frankln/Collins device and the recipient was very please with the additional functionality and easy to use layout.

È un buon dispositivo per trovare parole inglesi sconosciute, senza utlizzare il vocabolario cartaceo. È semplice da usare ed è utile per impratichirsi nell' uso dell' inglese, visto che le spiegazioni sono in questa lingua. L' uso implica una discreta conoscenza dell' inglese.
