great construction, easy to install, excellent customer service
This is a fantastic TV mounting bracket at an excellent price! I wanted a slim-profile bracket that would hold our new 65" LED HDTV. I ordered the ECHOGEAR Low Profile Fixed TV Wall Mount Bracket (for 32"-80" TV's), priced at $29.99. (Similar items were listed at over $100 at other big-box electronics-type stores.) This ECHOGEAR product is GREAT! The bracket consists of two heavy-gauge metal pieces that overlap and screw into the wall. Then there are two heavy-gauge metal braces, which each get screwed into the back of the TV, and can then be clipped onto the wall bracket. It arrived promptly with clear instructions and lots of different-sized screws to accommodate different TV manufacturers and bolts for attachment to studs through drywall. (There were instructions for mounting through concrete/cement, but we would have had to go and purchase the bolts/anchors they told you to get, so that would have been a bit of an aggravation if we were ready to mount then discovered we needed to go out and purchase additional tools.) Turns out the screw type and length we needed was one of the only type/size that WASN'T included in the package, but ECHOGEAR customer service was very responsive and said they'd mail out the necessary four screws to us right away. [Update: we were impatient to mount our new TV, and the screws from ECHOGEAR hadn't yet arrived after 1 week, so we were going to go to the hardware store and buy them ourselves, but it turns out those four screws we needed were included with the TV! ] Attaching the bracket to our studs through drywall was a BREEZE. (You will need to have a reliable stud-finder, however.) The bolts provided for bracket attachment to the studs were very large and solid/sturdy. Once the bracket was attached to the wall, and the braces were screwed into the holes in the back of the TV housing, it was so easy to clip/slide the TV over and onto the wall bracket. The TV can be slid on the bracket (on the wall) side-to-side for purposes of fine-tune centering adjustment horizontally once the TV is clipped onto the wall bracket, but there is no movement possible vertically or pivoting once the wall bracket is screwed in. (Note, as we're discussing this, this might be a bit of a potential design flaw; in theory, if the wall bracket wasn't secured close enough to center and you tried to make up for it by sliding the TV over, one could actually slide the TV off the bracket! That being said, we had at least 12 inches on either side of where our braces sit on the bracket, but we are thinking we might stick some putty or clay on the ends of the wall bracket to avoid an inadvertent disaster, should the cleaners or a painter decide to nudge the TV to the side!) The quick-release loops are a nice feature, and those we taped up with painter's masking tape to hide but maintain access. (Depending on where on the screw-hole/supports are located on the back of the TV, the loops may already be hidden by the bottom part of the TV. On the same TV in 55", the support bracket across the back of the TV was more in the middle of the TV; I think for the larger 65", the support bracket is lower due to center of gravity and stability.) The bracket does hold the TV against the wall with a very slim profile, but there's still 2.5" clearance so that HDMI and audio ports could be accessed, if necessary. All in all, very happy with my purchase. Would highly recommend.

Criminally simple to install!
This mount is criminally simple to install!! I needed something unique. I needed to mount a 39” TV into a recessed box in a travel trailer. (RV) Most flush mounts of this type require a screw to be tightened up to the bottom rail of the wall bracket. Because this tv was to be in a recessed box it made it impossible for me to get at the underside of the mount from behind the tv while the tv was hung on the wall. Having the spring loaded clips for the bottom rail and the hanging loops to release them was the perfect solution for my needs. The way the wall bracket is made, mounting and centering issues are extremely simple. Screwing the rails onto the back of the tv was even more simple. Hanging the tv was as simple as hooking the top on and gently swinging the bottom into place. Very audible clicks let me know the spring loaded clips had grabbed the bottom rail. That and the fact that the tv wouldn’t swing back out. I did a little test pull on the loops to release the bottom clips. Easy as pie. Nothing about this mount was difficult. I’m very pleased with it! Good quality as well. Sturdy. I’d buy it again and recommend it to anybody. I will say that because of my RV application, I had to purchase some hardware to install the bracket into the wood panel of the tv recess in the RV. No studs for me to find. Just a piece of 1/2” board. I say this because the mount came with an impressive amount of hardware for hanging. You’d be all set for a house. There were what looked like some 3” long 3/8” lag bolts included for securing into studs. At a glance I thought 3/8” anyway. It’s possible they may have been 1/4”. Regardless, much beefier than other hardware I have received with other mounts I have hung in my house. The whole thing made for a very flush mount. Check out some of the photos I posted below.

Easy to hang, low profile, holds perfectly, good instructions.
Easy to mount and, don't tell anyone I had to but, easy to remount too. Perfect, simple design that's easy for DIYers and leaves you confident. If you're like me, you may be looking at the picture and going, "how will I mount the tv center on the wall if this thing goes straight into the studs, which aren't center?" But don't worry - for one thing, you can put the bolts into the studs into any one of the long spaces of the base. This allows you to mount that part of it slightly off-center to the studs, allowing you to center to the wall or furniture rather than just the space of the studs, depending on how wide apart yours are. Secondly, the bars that attach to the TV itself easily slide back and forth along the base affixed to the wall, which serves as a kind of rail, complete with safety stops to keep you from sliding right off. So in other words, you have a lot of "play" once you get the base mounted, and it's very easy to align the TV side to side after you've got it mounted. And boy, is this thing ever FLUSH. This is so close to the wall that I had to take the TV off to get my cables in. But once I did, it fits beautifully.

Some compromises, but turned out great.
While this mount worked well for me, there are some limitations caused by the low price point. First, there is no provision for leveling after it is mounted to the wall, so you need to get it perfectly level when you mount it. This is a little bit trickier because the frame ships in two pieces, and has to be assembled before mounting to the wall. As a result, you can't really place your level along the full length of the frame, but only along the middle piece that holds them together. Given that my frame looked very slightly wonky when assembled, I wasn't entirely confident that the middle piece was perfectly level so I placed the vertical supports (the part that attaches to the TV) on the frame and then used the tops of those supports for leveling. It all worked out but would have been easier with a one piece frame or with leveling adjustments. Still, it does work well now that it is installed and the price is super reasonable.

Excellent low profile, fixed TV mount. I mounted a 60" flat screen in our media room and it took me all of 30 minutes. Very solid and easy to mount TV once installed. Would highly recommend.

Worked as expected. Good price, good construction. Super fast and easy to hang my 75"TV. No tilt or other adjustable settings, but that is not part of this slim-mount design. I would recommend.

Product is good, easy to install, low profile. Came with all of the hardware. Negatives, the lower bracket release straps are too short when used with a larger TV. My 65 inch, I cant reach them without the assistance from a coat hanger. Shipping was 5 days later than expected and the box was partially destroyed.
