Nice!
This is our first Benz (15’ GLK350) and I like to do basic maintenance. I felt that the flower bolts had a specific key, and the OEM 17mm wrench stripped the flower cap off only to reveal a 16mm flower bolt... a quick search online lead me here and the socket works great! The socket really grabs on to the flower bolt nice and secure. It struggled removing the bolts that were previously stripped with a 17mm socket but I carefully tapped in on with a hammer to help it grab the bolt. Feels nice and durable. I did not try/test it with an impact, because I’ve bust a cap off these flower bolts by hand. Only time will tell on it’s durability but it’s doing it’s job so far.

A must have. Should be included with a vehicle purchase
I purchased a used Mercedes and without this tool the average consumer must use a 12 point socket to remove wheel bolts. Well someone at some point in time used a 6 point socket and totally deformed the bolts! I almost used a bolt extractor which would have eaten up the bolts. I’m happy I found this tool!

Must have tool for Mercedes Benz cars with AMG rims and star lug nuts
I bought one each of the ATLIN and OBDResource versions of this tool. Both are of the exact same quality. This socket works very well to remove the star lug nuts found on Mercedes Benz AMG rims. Some reviews mention that the tool will not completely fit over the lug nut. This is the fault of Mercedes Benz, not the tool maker. The MB lug nut has a decorative chrome cover that varies in size. In the second picture, the socket completely fits over the lug nut. In the first picture, the chrome cap only fits about halfway into the tool. I found that the socket fit half the lug nuts on my vehicle without a problem, but I had to use a hammer to tap the socket onto the other nuts. Sometimes the chrome cap got stuck in the socket and came off the lug nut. I do not fault the tool for that issue. Other reviewers mentioned that their sockets broke and split into two pieces. These are so inexpensive, I bought two to mitigate that happenstance. I only used this with a breaker bar and not an impact wrench so I cannot comment on using it with power tools. I did use it to remove and reinstall four tires and the tool worked flawlessly.

Perfect for techs and DIY Mercedes owners
I’m a tech at a tire shop in Beverly Hills, CA so we see plenty of high end vehicles. Whenever I would come across the Mercedes star lugnuts I would have no choice but to use a regular 17mm since that’s all we have. I hated the idea of ruining the heads of the bolts. So I decided to buy my own. I love it. It’s a perfect fit so long as the head of the lugnut hasn’t already been damaged from using the wrong socket too many times. I love that the socket is coated. It really makes a difference and doesn’t scratch the rims like uncoated impact sockets. Worth the money and a must have for techs/mechanics and diy Mercedes owners.
