I've used several Pendleton Blankets before, but trust me, this new 5th Avenue line feels twice as soft and luxurious as their other blankets. Pendleton is renowned for the quality of its wool, and this blanket is really the cream of the crop. Extremely warm, extremely soft, and beautiful too. This blanket works perfectly as a throw or can be used for extra warmth in bed (if you don't mind the fringe). I chose the Neutral Stripe color to complement my den furniture, but it also looks great at the foot of my bed. The quality really is excellent, and I know we'll enjoy this for many years.Though I loved the blanket, the packaging was a little disappointing. It arrives with a thick cardstock tag around the blanket and is wrapped in flimsy plastic with tape, so you should definitely plan to re-wrap if you're gifting it.

I thought about buying this throw for over a year before I purchased. My qualms were: too small, possibly itchy, very expensive. However after getting a new job I decided to give myself a present and I could not be happier with my purchase. It is so warm, soft and cozy. It fits completely over me and i sleep with it over my quilt at night which has been a welcome warmth. My cat also love cuddling up on the blanket. I would 100/% purchase more of these or give them as gifts or just fill my home with them.

Soft, beautiful, warm, and not at all scratchy or itchy. I'll probably end up buying a few more "5th ave throws" for the house this winter - just don't know if I should get the same one or try a plaid! I am a huge fan of the heavier Pendleton blankets and this throw did not disappoint. The beige does get dirty quickly. I'll end up hand washing this with Eucalan like the rest of my wool/cashmere products, probably.

Design and quality are great but as others have noted it's kinda thin and not really any warmer than a standard fleece/polyester throw.

A bit pricey, but very good quality. I gave it to my sister after she commented that our great uncle had a very similar blanket back in the sixties. She says this one is as warm and sturdy as that one was.

Bought this as a birthday gift for my wife and she loved it! We have it slung over an armchair in our living room and it looks chic and outdoorsy somehow.

Our whole family loves Pendleton & it is worth the money. This blanket is soft to the touch. Only downfall is DRY CLEAN only, which is the case for almost all of Pendleton items. We still love Pendleton & have numerous blankets & clothing items from them.
