I have installed multiple water pump pressure switches over my time. I like doing plumbing work and myself and neighbors have water pumps to supply water for our hose and geothermal hvac systems. I got this switch as a back up because I know they can go bad as a moment's notice and it's smart to keep a back up at hand. This switch is as good as any other I've used in the past. The same set up with hook ups, cover, and brackets the same as I've used before, but most importantly, much cheaper than I've bought locally at a big box store. Get one as a back up!

While a typical unit for this function, it has the things I need... Wire access from both sides, can use one or both for cabling. Adjustable cut-in and cut-out pressure within the purchased band. Large contacts for ease of installation and reliability of function. Currently a super low price.

This D-HONOR pressure switch is much like (almost identical) the first switch I had. It is preset to 40-60 PSI (that is 40 psi cut-on, 60 psi cut-off). I prefer this range over the lower 30-50 psi. My original switch was preset at 30-50 psi and there's a noticeable difference between the two. The switch is described as having a low pressure cut off, but it doesn't. The switches with low pressure cut-off have a lever to override and get the system primed. This switch comes with tapered grommets installed for the wires. I'm used to connectors on the input/output, but suppose there's very little difference using in a basement. I did use the adjustment screws to widen the range a bit more; a simple adjustment made by turning one or both nuts. I would recommend checking the pipe this is installed on for silt build up inside. Mine had quite a bit inside it choking off the pipe. This is a well made switch for a very reasonable price.

Used this to replace our old one which has started sticking. Been over a month and working very nicely. Easy to assemble and use.

Not sure what anyone else is doing with this, but we are using it as a pressure switch for our well pump for our main house water. We always keep a spare pressure switch around in case one breaks since we live in a relatively remote area. To get one of these from the big box stores costs at least $30 not to mention the drive to/from the store and the time lost doing so. The cost is cheaper and I get it delivered to my door, sold!Our switch has worked very well for about 3 months now and we purchased another to have as the backup. Hopefully it lasts a long time and the other just sits on our shelf for about 4 years (our current average timeline for replacing the switch).

D-honor switch with low pressure cut off. Manufacturer description is misleading. Product is supposed to have a low pressure cut off. There is no low pressure cut off.
