GHIRARDELLI Intense Dark Chocolate Bar, 72% Cacao, 3.5 Oz Bar

This is never expired, never has white spots or streaks on the brown surface, and is always perfect in every way. Meanwhile, my lettuce is wilted or not included far too much of the time and even my meat was expiring the same day it was delivered last time. So, I find myself wondering what that says about our society. Perhaps we're all having a really hard time, and we need a lot of chocolate to get through these difficult days, so it's always fresh and new and tastes perfect every last time we order it. It's not healthy, but this is a good way to get it delivered, as long as you don't leave it outside on a hot day. We'll be reordering this.

This is sooooooo good. I’m breaking myself of a very fattening chocolate donut habit and this rich and flavorful dark chocolate hits the spot!

Being originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, I grew up with Ghirardelli chocolate. One of the memorable field trips in school days included a visit to the factory. Sweet!I'm also a fan of dark chocolate. This particular style took me a little getting used to as it has that slight bitterness that getting close to chocolate's origins can have. At first I thought that it wasn't sweet enough to balance out the taste profile, but I just had to give it time. It's dark chocolate with intention - you shouldn't rush through experiencing it.Right now the package is on my desk so that I can break off a piece or two when I need a boost of flavor.

The flavor is heavenly and I love that it (and the 86% cacao version) have among the lowest lead and cadmium levels than most national brands. It’s gives that deep cocoa flavor you want from cocoa. I love the 72% cacao as a snack on its own, too.

I used this for snacking as it is better (less sugar) than it's milk chocolate siblings..

The natural cocoa flavor that really packs a punch to the taste buds, is only made that much more smooth by the quality melt-ability of this chocolate. The flavor is second to no other brand I've found so far that creates a natural chocolate feel and taste.
