I Loved It
I really enjoyed this book. It kept my interest and it flowed perfectly. There was just enough description to allow you to fall in love with the characters but not so much that it loses the reader. There were a few grammatical errors but it was bearable. Many other reviews feel the ending was rushed. I can see how someone would feel that way, however the whole novel is a build up the main characters relationship and feelings. In my opinion the rushed ending was right on time. The reader is more than ready for the outcome.

A Little Rough Around the Edges
Now, the title of my review may make it seem like I really didn't like this book- and that would be a complete misunderstanding. I actually really enjoyed the character dynamic between Freya and Ms. Spicer. Unfortunately though, I believe that there are a few things that need to be addressed for any potential reader. I will do a simple PROs and CONs list.CONS:- Typos. There are a lot in this book. I'll just put that out there now. It's not enough to really ruin your perception of the story but it can be distracting.- Character development sometimes felt a little spotty in some areas. I felt that Bea's character was not fleshed out enough. I would have liked to see more of why she was the way she was.- Conversations sometimes seemed a little cliché though there were plenty of examples of wonderful originality in this piece. Some characters, like the two bitchy teachers, seemed far too rehearsed and I felt as though I have seen them many times before with different faces and names.- Slightly unsatisfying ending. I don't want to give anything away- I just felt like it was hastily written and needed a bit more clarity.PROS:- Believable main characters. Though Ms. Kat Spicer and Freya are both incredible attractive and intelligent women, they are not made out to be perfect characters with perfect lives. One thing I really found interesting is that Kat did not live in a grand old mansion and she wasn't super rich or very powerful in any way. Many times in lesbian romances we see a trope of an older lover who has a lot of dough in the bank and therefore, no limitations. I also enjoyed how Freya was NOT perfect. She's smart, yes- and of course very beautiful. Freya had to deal with her own problems- not all focusing around Kat and her infatuation with her. I enjoyed that it was obvious that both characters had a life outside of their own relationship with each other.- Interesting plot. This book was definitely a page turner. I was very rarely bored and the plot was very rarely predictable.Overall, I really think that this was an enjoyable novel. It's a fun read that will warm your heart. Recommended!

I can't say enough
I know that it's been said over and over in the reviews of this book, but this book was incredible. I read a lot, and this book stayed with me far after I finished it. It's really not just a "romance" novel...far deeper. As an educator, I was amazed at the topics covered...bullying, both cyber and physical, gossip, threats, and all kinds of plot twists and turns that hook the reader. I was expecting "Loving Annabelle" in a book. What this was was so much more. I cannot recommend this book enough. I just purchased the sequel, and can hardly wait to pick up where the first book left off. I was leery of the book, given the $4.99 price. Often these books are really skimpy plots, with editing errors and not much in the way of a decent story. This was a fully developed piece, and kept you reading from beginning to end. Again, I can't say enough about this book.

Great storyline, ok delivery, poor formatting
Love the concept of the book and the storyline, and secondary characters were well developed. I didn't think the two primary characters were very well developed. I believe they had an undeniable attraction but I wanted more background on the teacher, and her student. The book/story also ended too abruptly. The writer is obviously talented and I would be open to reading more of her work. I hope the formatting is much improved though. The poor formatting of the chapters made it difficult to read on my Kindle Fire.

I like the book
I thought maybe the reviews for this book may have been written by the author since they really talked the book up. It was near the top of the list of books sorted by popularity so I decided I would give it a try anyway. I don't think the reviews were made up after reading the book. It was great, well written, and I'm glad I bought it.Also, I was hoping the book wouldn't be creepy since it was a student teacher relationship and I didn't feel it was. The characters are written to be close in age despite one being a teacher. Overall a great book and I would recommend it to others.

We have all thought it
Loved this book from chapter one. Kiki has written a book that everyone can relate to as many of us have had a crush on at least one teacher during our school years. This book also includes flatmate and the interactions of everyone around the main character. It will have you laughing and crying as you turn the pages. This is the first book in a series of two and you will be buying the second book after reading this one.

Interesting student - teacher relationship!
I enjoyed the relationship between Kat, a first year teacher, and Freya, her student. Since there was an age difference of only 3-4 years, it seemed realistic. My negatives were some of the friends were over the top at times, some of the students had behavior that was totally unacceptable, and I had some difficulty understanding the British school system. But the pros outnumbered the cons. Kat's friends were always loyal and accepting. Kat was really a terrific teacher and she never crossed the line with Freya while she was her teacher. Freya was quite mature and Kiki's writing is crazy funny!
