Corona Tools Handheld Garden Tool Sharpener– Blade Sharpener for Pruning Shears, Loppers, Hedge Clippers & More

I got this because I own a nursery and use hand pruners and loppers regularly and with all the use they dull quickly sometimes. Since using this I'm very impressed. It only takes me around 30 seconds or less to put a nice new edge on my pruner blade. I also like the size. I can keep it on me while I'm working and can sharpen my blade as needed. I'd recommend watching the video that Corona provided with this listing because it shows you how to use it. Great product!

For under $10, this should not be overlooked. It is much less aggressive than using a file to sharpen pruning shears, loppers, or weeding hoes. I was surprised to find that the tool has directionality, which matters when using it. It did not deburr my blades, but it did reshape and flatten chips on a pair of pruning shears that had been misused as metal shears. In fact, it even sharpened that metal shear. The tool is compact, easy to use, and delivers real results for the price. I only wish I had heard of it sooner.

I bought this for my garden shears, simple to use for your average non-rocket engineer, even my nicked shears are sharp!

I work in the weed industry and these sharpeners are the only ones I have used that sharpen my harvest clippers properly. They don't look like they will work.....but they do quite a good job.

Does a good job on sharpening scissors and gardening shears. It’s nice because it not bulky and easy to handle. I would recommend it and the price you can’t beat compared to taking it to someone to have the items sharped for you. I think it would also do good with knives.

Advertised as a sharpener for garden tools like garden shears, scythes, sickles, etc. I use it for dull kitchen knives and it works to re shape the edge. If using on a kitchen knife YOU STILL MUST HONE IT AFTERWARDS. **ALSO works great as a striker on a ferro rod for all you bushman out there. Rubbery grip, durable, fits good in a larger hand, comes with a cap. No edge but the 90* edge was enough to cut my thumb, so use caution when taking the cap off. Great price. Highly recommend

I bought this to refresh garden tool blades, but figured I'd try it on some 20 year old kitchen knives first. I was quickly able to put a new clean bevel on the kitchen knives and finish them off with a diamond block. It's the fastest and sharpest I've gotten those knives in years. Very nice for such an inexpensive item! I wouldn't recommend this to sharpen kitchen knives by itself, but it took off metal quickly and got them ready to be properly sharpened.

Very easy to use. Great to use in sharpening a hand held pruner.
