It fits me well ! This is good for small/ petite people
I ordered this as I will be recovering from abdominal surgery in a couple days. I have been advised to buy a binder. I am having laparoscopic, but possibly a C-section like scar type of surgery for radical hysterectomy.I ordered a few other binders on Amazon, none of them were small enough to fit me. It’s frustrating because you’re basically just going on reading reviews, photos, and what people say about the fit. I considered going to a surgical supply website, but I feel like it’s easier to look at the reviews and photos on Amazon, that’s how I like to shop at least.I am 5 foot five, 109 -112 pounds. 40 years old.I figure with surgery I will probably have some swelling but the other binders I ordered all seem to be made for larger people .I was worried about this one because it didn’t have a lot of good reviews. I’m writing this review for you petite and smaller women out there like me that are looking for a good belly binder that is comfortable with the good tension that will fit you well. There is plenty of room to spare on this binder if I need to go tighter, and there’s room if I swell.I can’t speak to those ladies using this as a pregnancy postpartum binder, but if you were having abdominal surgery and were advised by your surgeon to get something like this I feel like it’s going to give me excellent support and comfort.I’m a size 0, sometimes 2, my waist is about 24 inches measured at the true waist loosely.I just wanted to find some thing with the proper level of support and grip it seems like most of the things on Amazon and the photos were for bigger people. If you’re small like me (and can’t help it,) I hope this review helps you and your search. I’m sure if you were five or 10 pounds smaller it still might fit you maybe.Buy this one it’s worth the money, I looked at the luxe version as well and there was a wait time on it and it cost more so I think this one is comfortable enough. If I find myself needing another one I will totally splurge for the luxe version belly bandit

Ok, but too expensive
Not great value for the $; too expensive. Run small; for shorter waists. Benefit over original band is the 2 flap adjustment which is better for curves. However, still folds/creases making it uncomfortable on the sides and back, just like original band. Fabric covering makes it less irritating to skin than original band.

Advice from a second time mama
I bought this with amazon prime. I am in my 7th month of pregnancy. I measured the belly bandit to for my stomach now. I tried it on and it fits. It will be perfect for after my Csection. After my last c-section I had a lot of swelling so it's good to order a band that fits you NOW. Love that it has two velcro's so I can tighten it easier. The band I used last time only had 1 large Velcro closure and was hard to close tight while standing. I know you're supposed to lay down and close the band, but sometimes you need to re-adjust when in the public restroom and I could never get the velcro tight enough while standing. With two velcro's I can easily velcro one, then tighten the other velcro, un-velcro the first and pull it tight, etc. until I get a nice tight fit without having to lay down. By alternating the straps closed you can get a nice tight fit. Great product. I ordered a medium and will order a small for the week after delivery. Ladies, do yourself a favor and spend a little money and time on yourself. you'll be happy you did. Bringing a new life into this world doesn't mean you have to lose a part of yourself. Feel beautiful again after delivery and purchase a belly bandit! Your abs will thank you. Trust me.

Does help
I have to say, although wearing a girdle constantly is not comfortable, the BFF does help with support and tummy reduction after giving birth. I did not wear this nearly as much as is suggested but could definitely notice a difference when I did. The fabric is very soft and having an hour-glass shape, I liked the two areas of adjustment. It does develop a crease over time, but I don't see any way that could be avoided after a lot of sitting and standing.

Total Waste.
I've been wearing the bff for a week and although the compression initially felt supportive and worthwhile, the belt quickly folded up and scrunched, narrowing its coverage area to half of its original size. It is advertised that scrunching is fine and doesn't affect the compression but mine is so scrunched that it only surrounds my waist now and not my hips at all. It is also incredibly bulky and easily seen under clothes. It makes me look bigger than I otherwise would which is obviously not the desired effect. The only reason that I haven't stopped wearing it is that I am annoyed at what I spent on it and am trying to justify its price by pretending that it's still a little useful. Huge disappointment for something that you hope will help you after having a baby.

Not worth the money. Definitely go for a less costly one. It doesn't shrink your waist size. I used it as a support for my flabby belly. I never wore it to go out because it made me look fatter along the waist. As for size I am 5'3'' and weighed 160lbs my last couple weeks of pregnancy my belly measured 49in, I ordered small because i thought i would just squeeze myself into it. It fit 3 days after i gave birth (145lbs, 40in) Two weeks later I stopped wearing it because it was a hassle to keep remembering to put it on. So I just stopped wearing it. No it doesn't make you skinnier my belly went down on its own due to breastfeeding and normal shrinkage. My baby is now four months and i think thanks to breastfeeding I weigh 137lb and waist is 29in. Will probably start exercising soon though. As for comfort I would sometimes sleep with it, but i couldn't breastfeed with it comfortably. It is durable and thick though. I will not buy it again. But i would recommend any other one that cost way less just to help you feel like your belly has protection those first days after birth.
