Works perfectly! This was exactly what I needed for what U was trying to do. I own a 2000 Jeep and wanted to update the radio with something that had Android Auto and possibly cameras. This adapter allowed me to extend the radio connection to a flush mounted USB C input.

Use this to do a charging port on my car. Worked great. Would buy again

Bought to extend the line out of my aftermarket head unit. Works great have not had an issue yet. Apple play works with it.

Worked beautifully. Note I installed mine in the 12v as a picture shows. I had to cut out the back of the 12 socket and then glue it into the metal socket but the function is exactly as I wanted

Fits a 2013 Nissan Xterra

Just installed a new Alpine Navigation unit purchased at a wonderful price on Amazon…. The Alpine unit came with a cord that would just stick out of the dash, it looked unprofessional. Replaced with this. I mounted it between the cigarette lighter and the traction control switch on a 2007 Ford F-150. It looks just like a factory outlet. I used a hole saw running backwards to carefully cut the plastic. I used an exact size hole and the two small prongs near the face snapped right into place.

I didnt use it because I found a way to use my factory USB on the aftermarket stereo. I did test it and it worked well. You can screw in the enclosed bracket and snap it in. Or you can drill the apporpriate size hole and snap it into the hole for a clean looking flush mount. I am saving it for a different vehicle with no factory USB port.
