Q: Hello!!! Is there a significant difference between this and the one that is just pain relief?

There is neosporin ointment which is very greasy but good. There is neosporin white crème which is very good. About the pain relief it depends how sore "your sore is". Sometimes it does the job for pain. Overall, neosporin ointment whether crème or greasy is very good stuff. Hope this helps.
