Good artists' tape for use on paper, a little weak for use on fabric
I use this tape to mark out the stitch count on a piece of needlepoint canvas. I chose it because it will leave no sticky residue after removal. The downside is that the adhesion is a little weak. that's good for paper, but not as good on a piece of canvas that will be handled regularly for many months. That being said, i don't know of a better product for this purpose and I'll gladly continue using this.

A dream to use on watercolor work
This is the best tape I have ever used for my artwork. I bought the medium tack and it is perfect for watercolor. No leaking onto the taped off areas. It is slightly transparent so I can easily see the paper edge when applying allowing for even margins. It is a dream to peel off the paper. You don't have to worry about tearing the paper. Much better than the green or blue painters tape or brown masking tape.

Great size for borders and comes off easy, though it rips some of my paper off with it, rarely that’s the color I applied so it’s occasionally frustrating but overall works fine

White Art Tape
This works great for my diamond paintings to keep the edges clean. I very much recommend it. Easy to use and does what it's supposed to.

Great for Watercolor Artists
If you’re a watercolor artist, this is a great option for lining your paper borders. I usually have no leaks on the paper and never have any problems lifting it off the paper when I’m done. I use Arches 100% cold press paper - the best quality.

Terrible Tape. Will Destroy Your Art
I bought this tape to make down the edges of my art projects because I ran out of Holbein soft tape and this seemed to get ok reviews on Amazon. It's absolutely terrible though. I've tried it on different papers and using different methods for removal but the end result it is the same. It sticks so much to that there's no way I find to remove it without absolutely destroying the edges of my artwork. It completely rips up the paper and leaves the art looking terrible. It might be ok if you want to mount something as it's sticky enough, but I would not recommend it for masking. I would recommend the Holbein soft tape. It is amazing! It makes a great deal and always comes off perfectly. I ended up finding some on Blick's site and stockpiling it so I never have to resort to using tape like this again. Do not recommend. Would give this tape negative stars if that were possible.

too sticky for my watercolor paper
Stuck to my watercolor paper and tore off the top layer. Even though I removed it slowly and with care.

Good dimension, easy stick, gives clean paint edges, but lifted watercolour paper upon removal. Suggest removing some glue by sticking to clean fabric before using - a step I was looking to eliminate.

Used to tape edges of watercolour to art board. Left it on for 24 hrs to let my art dry. Ripped the paper up upon removal. Tried twice with another paper. (Winsor Newton) same fault. Previously used cheap masking tape which never ripped the paper or bled water through. Back to the good old cheap stuff that works.
