Don't Buy. To soft and won't hold their shape
I already use a nostril opener and I purchased these for my husband. I was so disappointed. Mine are soft but made of a thicker material that keeps it shape. These are so soft & flimsy that if you push on the nose, they just collapse and won't hold the nostrils open.

A tool in the toolbox, but not a definitve anti-snoring solution
I cannot give 5 stars to this product due to the ridiculously high price (I paid $20.57, but now I see it is reduced to a more reasonable $17.02). There is an extremely high profit margin here. Each one of these nose vents probably costs a fraction of a cent to manufacture & ship. So, to be generous, the vendor would probably still make a profit if the item were sold for $2, including shipping. That being said, the nose vents in this set consists of 3 variations, and each variation has 4 sizes (total of 12 nose vents). All are made of the same soft medical grade silicone. Two of the variations are very similar: smooth surface inserts, but one type has circular "ridges" protruding outside the vent-- presumably for additional rigidity, and maybe to help prevent it from slipping out of your nostril. The third variety is tapered (like a cone) and has a honeycombed criss-cross structure.I found each style to be perfectly comfortable. But, I definitely preferred the smooth surface style. I really could not distinguish an advantage of the smooth-style over the other with ridges. The ridges perhaps held it in place slightly better than the smooth style. The cone-shaped style was slightly less comfortable for me. I could feel the roughness of the structure inside my nose with the cone-shaped vents, whereas I really could not feel the smooth-type vents in my nose at all, after a few seconds. But, I imagine it is simply a matter of personal preference. As far as the promise to end your snoring problems -- that is definitely an over-reach. It is POSSIBLE that these nose vents will stop your snoring, but only if the problem that causes your snoring is the obstruction or collapse of your nasal passages. Consider these as a "tool in the tool box". But only you can decide if you seem to have obstructed nasal passages. If this is not a problem for you, then these nose vents will not help you to stop snoring.[ I have a history of nasal polyps, and had nasal surgery 25+ years ago. Anyone with nasal polyps knows how they compromise your ability to breathe through your nasal passages. I recently have had nasal polyp problems again -- they apparently grow back over time -- and I found that the nose vents really helped keep my nasal passages open. But, after the doctor gave me a dose of steroids and doubled my nasal steroid dosage, I have not had difficulty with my nasal passages remaining open at night. And, I really do not currently need to wear these nose vents.]There are several vendors of nose vents on Amazon. These were the most expensive. So, why did I purchase these? The reason I bought these was because 3 different types were included in the set, and I wanted to see if any one type had an advantage over the other. Also, the set includes 4 sizes for each. Other vendors only had 3 sizes, and did not have 3 styles. Having tried the 3 styles, if I were to do it again, I would buy the sets that just contained the smooth-style nose vents or the ones with circular rings incorporated into them. At least, that is how my personal preference turned out. Overall, I liked the smooth style best, as they were the least intrusive, and I did not have an issue with them falling out.You will want to obtain a small plastic case to store your nasal vent in, beside your bed. The nose vents are easily lost. And Beagles would love to eat them, per my past experience with Beagles. Other dogs also may eat them, but definitely BEWARE OF THE BEAGLE!

Three stars for helping a bit, but didn't stop my snoring
Three stars for helping a bit, but these didn't stop my snoring. I was hoping this product would help me avoid a CPAP, but although these appear to open up my airway and improved my sleep slightly, the Snoring app I use shows I am still snoring all night, but just a little less loudly at times when using this. The product arrived quickly and was as described with 4 sizes of each of the 3 styles. They were a soft silicone and I liked having multiple sizes and styles to try because the style and size I thought I would like were not what ended up fitting best. However, now that I found the type and size that felt comfortable I would like to be able to buy a container of just that size and style, but that doesn't seem possible. If I keep using this product it will be annoying to have to pay this price for a dozen pair just to get one replacement pair and throw out 11 pair that aren't the right size. The fact that the sellers don't seem to be selling the nasal dilators by size makes me think that maybe this product doesn't have long term success - customers aren't wearing them long enough to need replacements so there's no market for selling these by size. I will likely keep using these for a while but I imagine that I will quit wearing these after a few weeks if I don't see more improvement than I've gotten so far.

I'm so angry right now.
Ever since I started working night shift, I've been sleeping terribly. I've tried dozens of things. I tried phillip's hue, for the sunset/sunrise settings. I have an app that syncs up to my watch to wake me in a light sleep state. I've tried zzzquil, and melatonin, gone through different vitamins, teas, tried some dietary adjustment... over the past few years I've done everything I could think of short of actually seeing a qualified professional.I've also, for as long as I can remember, had significantly reduced airflow through my nose. If I'm lucky, i get one unrestricted nostril. I realize now that that problem's probably exacerbated while I sleep. After hearing my complaints about consistently getting crappy sleep after 8+ hours, a friend mentioned sleep apnea, and it all sort of clicked at once. Bad airflow = bad sleep. I picked this set because I liked the quanitity of options. Different styles, different sizes.I popped one in, and I'm not sure I've ever been more angry than when I woke up. For years, I've been under the impression that at least on SOME nights I slept well. I was wrong. This was my first time waking up rested for as long as I can remember. That has been my experience since. The fact that I went through so much time trying so many things, and the solution was to shove a little sillicon cone up my nose is infuriating. I am by no means trying to say that this product is a miracle pill, or that it will work for you as it has for me, but what it did for me was beyond massive.

They worked.
This is a good product because they provide multiple sizes. After becoming accustomed to it try using the biggest one possible, I really think it can cause your body to do some semipermanent tissue remodeling, after awhile u won't need to use it as often. If you are a mouth breather, give it a try.
