Pokémon TCG: Sun & Moon Booster Display Box

Really cool new set, the use of lava foils on the GX cards is a nice touch. My son and I really enjoy opening packs together and the booster boxes provide great nostalgia and fun bonding activity. Also we have tended to get better pulls on average with the boosters. We got 2 boxes this time around and wow did we luck out! Some great pulls, we averaged 4 GX cards, 1 Full Art GX, and 1 Secret/Hyper Rare PER box, with 1 additional full art Trainer card. So out of two boxes we pulled 8 GX, 2 FA GX, 2 Hyper Rare GX, and 1 FA Trainer. I don't know if these are typical stats for the new set, but I'll take it!! :) I will try to post a couple photos. I personally recommend buying boosters if you can afford to, only other way I ever buy honestly is EX boxes/tins; I just have a hard time paying 4-5 bucks per loose (and often weighed) single packs.

In this set like all others boxes you will get atleast 12 cards that are holo rare or ultra rare. I bought 3 boxes from different sellers and in all 3 I got exactly 6 ultra rare and 6 holos. The first 2 I got a rainbow rare in Umbreon and Lunala GX. I noticed that in both of those boxes I pulled the rainbow rare and then eventually I also got the regular gx version in that box. Seems to be a pattern In my last box I pilled a full art trainer card in skull grunt and 5 other GX cards. Overall it's def a good set because there a few valuable cards here and it is a huge set . Anytime you have a chance for the secret rare ultra ball, that alone makes it worth buying these boxes.

New to the Pokémon TCG as a collector only, and this is my first booster box. I'm very satisfied with the pulls I got from this box (4 rare holo GX, 1 ultra rare GX, 1 ultra rare trainer, and 1 rare rainbow GX). The cards and artwork are good quality and holos especially pop in the right light. I'm probably going to buy another! EDIT: Bought another and pulled only 2 new rare holo GX and 2 dupes I pulled from my first box, 2 ultra rares were dupes from my first box and no rare rainbows. So it was a little disappointing. But I did manage to pull many reverse holos I needed along with a few regular rare holos. I've figured out getting the rest of what I need is more economical buying single cards here or from eBay.

Really wanted to give this box the benefit of the doubt. But clearly someone had been in these packs hunting for hits. Resealed packs that had puncture marks, edges with holes and miscut slants. I decided to just try my luck and I honestly would have kept the box if it had the statistical minimum average of 2 big hits but it didn't even have that. 9 white code cards but all normal holos with 2 of the same EX worth $1 each, the same exact ex. buyer beware. Extremely disappointed to see this as it was my first time getting a sun and moon booster box. Have ordered other booster boxes before without issues.

My son chose this as a gift for Christmas. It is a better value than buying individual packs. He opened 9 of the packages and found many special cards including holographic ones that are of more value. He is very excited about this. I’m glad I bought it for him although it’s a big chunk of money to put out all at once. It arrived quickly and in great condition inside a thin plastic wrap.

BUYER BEWARE: Pokemon Sun & Moon English booster boxes are mappable. Essentially, what this means is that it is possible for individuals to predict what packs contain the holo rare, ultra rare, and secret rare cards. I would highly not recommend purchasing individual booster packs from this set as all the booster packs containing the rare cards could have been cherry-picked out of the booster box. To guarantee you receive holo rare, ultra rare, and secret rare cards I would advise only to purchase SEALED booster boxes, like the ones sold on Amazon here. This is the reason why I deducted 1 star and gave the product 4/5 stars. ** EDIT: As of 3/15 it seems the Pokemon Company has fixed the problem of mapping and boxes are no longer mapable. With this being said, I would still suggest to be careful as there are still packs floating out there from the first print run. ** OVERVIEW: I purchased a total of 6 booster boxes. Factory sealed, came as advertised. As others have said, the cards are mapped. I would recommend taking out one half and then shuffling it for a more dramatic experience. My pulls: GX Ultra Rare - 4 Full Art GX Ultra Rare - 2 GX Hyper Rares (150-157) - 0 Secret Rares (158-163) - 1 Not as lucky as other folks it seems like, but not terrible. Ended up with a total of 29 cards missing from the Base Set (1-149) after I opened the whole box. Plenty of rares, and GX's I still need to pull. Not counting all of the secrets, and hyper rares.

Very happy with the pulls I received from my 1st Booster Box purchase! Yes, the box was sealed with the Pokémon plastic covering. No, the order of the booster packs did not follow the scripted order posted on uTube videos. You do receive 1 Holo card per packet. The packets that have the white/green set card will also yield a more valuable card be it a GX, Reverse Holo or Ultra Rare. Very pleased with purchase!

So first of all, there are some comments about the box being mapped (meaning packs were not randomized, aka 2 packs of non holo, then 1 holo/Ultra Rare, and repeat), however the packs I got in my box were not mapped, but they were completely random within box. There was a standard of how many gx cards you get, but all the booster packs were random, since I got 7 bad packs in a row, then 3/4 of the last packs all had an ultra rare gx card. Based on my understanding, there is one secret rare per box, and in mine it was a Lapras GX hyper rare. I also got one single full art, Tauros GX, along with about 6 holos and 5 regular art GX cards. This seems to be a newer print of the set, since it wasn't mapped, however, maybe the old ones being sold of Amazon were mapped, but they phased out the mapped boxes pretty quickly after the backlash. Overall, at about $2.30 per pack, this is pretty much unbeatable. You will get the set almost in its entirety, and you'll also get a handful of GX cards. I couldn't recommend this enough. Shipping was fast, and all the cards were in good condition, and the box was also sealed with the factory shrink wrap. Based on the price per pack, I have yet to find a better deal anywhere in Canada, with this probably the cheapest I have ever bought packs for.

Very bad! The display was opened, the plastic was opened and the box was torn and you could see that not all packages were in one line (height). This means that someone opened the box beforehand and removed the good packs! Very BAD because they took the chance to get a good one for us

Das Display wurde schon einmal geöffnet und danach professionell wieder versiegelt. Deutlich zu erkennen an den verbrannten Stellen und Kleberresten an den Boostern selbst. Schade...
