Good points are that this jacket is warm, both sections indvidually and even warmer together. Its also windproof.I like the 3 in 1 approach so you can wear the sections together or separately depending on the temperature.Main drawbacks, 1. it does not seem to cope well with moisture i.e. from sweat, once you get hot when walking - I have had visible droplets / dampness inside due to this, + my clothes are wet too in patches. 2. the buckle for the hood adjustment is weak so the strap slips and it keeps ending up well down my face making it difficult to see through! I am going to resort to a safety pin to keep it where I want it.3. The final annoying thing was the workmanship, I had had the coat a few days and discovered a hole in 1 of the pockets. Now it may have been there when I got the jacket and I missed it, but to me shows shoddy workmanship considering the only thing I have put in that pocket was a mask, there is nothing that should have made a hole.Over all I am a bit disappointed with it, however it will do for this winter.

I love this coat. The Omniheat reflective layer in the padded jacket works really well, maybe too well when I'm running around! All my other coats needed extra layers as I normally feel the cold quite a bit. As we're now in Spring and the weather is warmer I only need a t-shirt under the coat as the padded layer is sufficient. I wanted a coat that works for wet winter weather and this is perfect as it's warm, waterproof, wind proof and the length is slightly longer than my other coats. It's a quality item and I am very pleased with my purchase. As the weather gets slightly warmer I will probably need to switch out the padded jacket but it is wonderful to be warm without having to wear several layers. It is true to size (I'm a 12 and Medium is fine) with room for a jumper in extremely cold weather if required. There is an adjustable cord for the waist hidden in the zip pockets to help with the fit.

It is so warm, my girlfriend loved it and she use it almost everyday.
