The media could not be loaded. This motherboard is perfect for an all black pc build. It's so sleek, minimal, and clean.PROS:- It comes with a 16gb (or close to it) usb drive which is large enough to put the windows installer on.- looks nice- wifi 6 and bluetooth 5.2- sturdy antennes (they don't prevent me from plugging stuff into the other I/O ports)- 16+1+1 phase power delivery- includes some stickers for the motherboard, including 5 cmos battery stickers- the layout of all the connectors was moslty easy to work with. I just wich some more fan headers were at the top right.- BIOS is super easy to work with. it's easy to enable XMP and adjust fan curves.- enough usb portsCONS:- ez m.2 screws were not super easy. When I tried to unscrew one, it actually took the post out of the motherboard, and because the screws are so tiny, I couldn't get it out of the post. Luckily, I just used another one from one of the other m.2 slots- maybe i'm just stupid, but the preinstalled io shield has some padding, so you have to really push to align the motherboard standoffs. I spent an hour trying to figure that out and was afriad of snapping my motherboard, but just looking at the io shield alignment from the back of the case helped me figure out what needed to be moved.- cost. It's 275-300 dollars for a midrange motherboard, which is crazy, but Z690 mothboards are way too expensive in general. I most this over cheaper motherboards because it looks so nice.I am writing this review for MSI's SHOUT OUT reward program, but the review was honest.

I get the maximum advertised speed out of my samsung 880 Pro, the card seems very good for the price. I wish there was a second USB 3 front header as my case has two connectors for its four front USB3 type A connectors, but two of then are useless for lack of a place to connect them. Even better would be a USB 4 port, thunderbolt or the ability to have display port over USB-C, but this is not a very expensive card and I can live without these extras. Overall mostly satisfied. The SSD heat sinks seem to work great.

I had previously bought a DDR4 motherboard from a different brand and website and the one I received had so many problems. When I received this MSI z690 motherboard, it was the complete opposite. The product arrived super quickly and in perfect condition. The installation manual is not the most intuitive but there are QR codes for each section that lead to a detailed Youtube walkthrough which is really helpful. The motherboard could recognize all my parts. I was worried about my storage since I only had 2 NMVe SSD and no regular hard drives. Installing Windows was extremely smooth, the motherboard instantly recognized my NVMe drives and I could install my OS easily. No issues with the Wifi antennas either. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase, it was worth the extra price compared to lower end DDR4 motherboards that support 12th gen intel cpus. I will do a lot of video editing with my new machine.

Upgrade to this Motherboard, went well. Had to update the BIOS and it boots so quick that to get back into BIOS I had to use Post BIOS boot menus to go back to BIOS!
