Works well
The EPD has a slow refresh but works well enough. I had some issues with the Python example from their GitHub repo. Waveshare were very helpful and responsive to communication and I managed to figure out the issue (some python3 processes that were hanging around after I hit CTRL-C).

Well built and easy to follow instructions
Very impressive display and case. There are instructions on the Waveshare Wiki web site. I was successful in getting their example software working. I used a Raspberry Pi 2 W to drive the display. The touch screen worked as advertised. It does get a bit warm while running. I used RNVC to access Buster. It made it a lot easier to add additional jpg files. This is a good DIY project for young programmers. All the files are in Github as well. I've never seen a touch screen draw on a e-ink display so that was a nice feature to think about. The believe the price is just right for what you get.

Mocht wederom een Quickstart conf. Bij zitten want als je begint op te zoeken krijg je veel vrrschillende manieren. Verwarrend en tijdrovend. Mooie gadget

Perfekt
Ich verwende das Display mit Gehäuse als Infodisplay an der Wand um meine Sensorwerte des entsprechenden Raumes von Netatmo anzeigen zu lassen (Temperatur, CO2, Luftfeuchte). Es lassen sich beide Varianten des RPI Zero verwenden, allerdings ist die ältere Variante etwas langsamer und das kann man teilweise merken. Die Touch Funktion des Displays verwende ich nicht da sie für mich in dieser Version keinen Sinn macht. Ich kann das Set uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.
