The technical info still says the uv302 uses an aa battery, which is surely a typo. can you really choose 3 levels of uv output?

Hello my friends, firstly thanks to find out our mistake of specification description. Yes, the flashlight surely is powered by Samsung 18650 2600mAh rechargeable Li-ion battery, and it sets up 3 levels UV output, Max. CUR 120mW/cm radiant energy. much thanks again.

I just ordered this and I’d like to get safety glasses (365 nm). Can anyone recommend ones? Thanks

Probably any pair of polycarbonate safety glasses that you can find at a hardware store will work. It is easy to check. Just shine the light through the glasses at a piece of white paper. The paper should fluoresce, but when you pass the beam through the safety glasses, it should not do anything at all. No fluorescence behind the lens. You might even be able to take the light to the store and tests the glasses while still in their package.

How do you switch from 365nm to 395nm?

You would need two separate uv flashlights. Or find a flashlight that has two UV LEDs 365 and 395 nm.

Can you check for a strip on the US currency in the day light or does it have to be dark?

If you are meaning direct sunlight, I don't think it would show well unless you are right close at the paper or shade it with something. In moderately bright room light, the strip shows with the flashlight about 6-8 inches away.
