I charged these up for a full day before use.They seem to stay unusually bright for hours, even on the low power setting. Where I installed my first four, their panels hang down and face perfectly into the daytime sun. From dusk until nearly 1 am, I have very bright light out there! Very happy about that.I would order more of these, but in the area where I need to locate the next four lights, I don’t think I can point their solar panels into the sun. The charging panel doesn't rotate; it only swivels. It looks it will be hard to aim these lights where I want them and still adjust the panels toward the sun.UPDATE: I forgot to mention one thing that is really great on these lights. They have two thumbscrews, instead of the usual bolts or Philips screws that require a tool to tighten them. This means you can easily readjust both the angle of the panel and the angle of the light beam and very easily retighten. These are the first light I’ve had with this feature, and I LOVE IT!!! I'm changing my review from 3 stars to 4 stars because of this feature.UPDATE: 22 FEB 2019....OK, time for an update on these. I started with 4, and something snapped one of them off. I never did figure out how it broke. So I went from 4 to 3. I have had a variety of lights over the years. Some have lasted well and others not so well. After just about one year, these are still very strong and still nice and bright. They are the brightest of my LED floodlights. The only things I would change are1) I wish the solar panel were a little more adjustable (although they have not had any problems charging)2) I wish they were cheaper! Still I think these are the best solar spots I have ever bought.SUMMARY: I am keeping my review at four stars. Other than these two issues, they are practically (but not quite) perfect. I will keep them in my Amazon Wish list from now on.....so when I want to buy something else, and need to get my order over $35 for free Prime shipping or whatever, I'll just tack on one of these buggers.

Very nice led light. This one is brighter than the ones that solar panels are on top. It is brighter and adjustable. You can adjust the direction towards wherever you want. 5 Star!!

Purchased to light up my american flag that is mounted to a tree. I didn't use the stake, but mounted it directly to the tree with screws. It actually doesn't get full sun, and because of that only stays lit for approx 4-5 hours of the night. If it got more sun it would definitely last longer. So far it is holding up very well to the outdoor elements, but since summer so far only rain.

I bought this to accent on the Fall decor on my porch at night. It's exactly what I needed. Easy to put together and I love the automatic on/off function. But like most of these types of lights, it's for accenting a small area....it's not a floodlight. But I am very satisfied!

They were missing a part and one of the bulbs went out very quick. I emailed to get a replacement and never heard back.

I was very disappointed in this product. The batteries hold less than 4 to 5 hours of power and I was wanting something in the eight hour range. One of the lights broke at the joint while I was adjusting it per instructions. It looked like the plastic had a defect which took very little manipulation for the pivot point to snap. I duct taped the broken joint. If I had to do it again I'd choose a different vendor. I won't make another purchase from Mulcolor and I do most of my shopping here on Amazon.

I wish I purchased these sooner. We don't have a street light close to our house. So I rigged these up around the house. I mounted them to the house and in trees. When I leave for work, before sunrise, they are still going. I have them on the lowest power setting but they still illuminate our perimeter nicely. I hardwired a flood light before purchasing these. These solar lights are easier and do what I want. I'll get more when they burn out.

Bought this spotlight in May 2017 for use on my address sign at my rural property. Worked perfectly right out of the box and was reliable for 15 months. On every night for most of the night after sunny days, and a little less when the day has been cloudy. Opened it up to see if I could replace the rechargeable batteries, but they’re hardwired (see photo). Probably not cost-effective to replace batteries.Be aware that the rechargeable batteries will likely only lasts about 12 - 18 months. Please recycle when they die out.Purchased the same light - this time it’s a two-pack for nearly the same cost, so will keep one for when the first dies out in about a year and a half.
