I use it for drying and setting my short hair occassionally But one should not use it on high speed for more than 10-15 seconds because then it produces a burning smell. Even when not in contact with hair it should be off or at normal speed. Otherwise it will be too hot to touch or can burn/melt the wire and other things. Other than that I feel it's heavy for me to curl or set but it works well per quality. And yes it's helpful in straightening also but should not be used frequently to prevent hair damage. I'll rate four stars because it's costly as per the product.

This hair dryer makes styling so much easier It adds nice volume and reduces frizz without damaging my hair. The gold and ceramic coating gives a smooth finish. Just wish it was a bit lighter to hold otherwise, it’s fantastic

I loved this hot air brush! It’s super easy to use, and within 10-15 minutes my hair looks like I just came from the salon. It dries, smoothens, and gives volume at the same time. No need to juggle a dryer and a round brush anymore. My hair feels soft, shiny, and frizz-free. Totally worth it!
