Decision Points

some good, some not...as always in an anthology...the first two were the best, leading to some joy and anticipation, but the they started to weaken...some stories very thin, ephemeral, wispy, others with a bit more substance, but not one made a deep impression on me, not even the ones written by well known and respected authors...not a keeper, this collection...quite expensive for such simple fare...seems like it was mostly desk-drawer finds...

A solid and thoroughly enjoyable young adult anthology from Schmidt
Bryan Thomas Schmidt has edited a lot of my favorite anthologies, and this is just adding to the list. He has a knack for picking out excellent stories with solid characters. The stories are varied in this one, addressing a wide variety of circumstances and issues, but they all share two things in common: they are young adult stories, and they are enjoyable.
