Looks good, easy install
This is a lightweight product, made of plastic but looks like wood. Very easy to install compared to other ceiling fans I’ve installed. We get a LOT of compliments on it. BUT the light is VERY bright and “sterile”. Think operating room. I don’t mind it as I rarely use the light. If this is going to be your main source of light, probably way too harsh.

Was expecting better quality for the price.
I was looking for a modern and sleek looking fan and picked this one despite the high cost compared to many alternatives that are half the price at under $150. This product was almost double the price, but the quality did not meet my expectations.1) Instructions: The instructions were generally clearly written and appeared to be edited or written by a native English speaker, but the instructions could have been more complete. The wiring instructions did not match the product (for example, number of wires noted was different from the product) and the fact that the round bracket that holds together the bottom of the blades had to installed first was not clearly stated resulting in some wasted time.2) Remote: The remote uses a single A23 battery, which is not commonly used in the U.S. in my experience at least and is NOT included. The instructions used to state that the battery was included but those references were covered up by white tape. This meant that after installation I could not test if the fan was working properly. Most local stores didn't carry this type of battery, so I had to make a trip just to buy a $2 part that should have just been included in a product that costs almost $300. The remote also doesn't look premium is large enough to hold a AA or AAA battery.3) Installation: The installation was a lot more difficult than it should have been. The transmitter is a separate unit that had to be wired up to the motor which adds to the complexity. The three blades have to be perfectly matched to achieve a seamless look, but the plastic material of the blade is not very precisely cut and I ended up with some gaps between the blades which looks bad up close. Also, the cover screw in the middle of the blades did not align perfectly so the fan looks like it wobbles when on. The three blades are attached by screws at the top of the blade and the holes are not easier visible unless your vantage point is above the blades. This makes it difficult to do a low profile installation. The attachment points should be from below the blades. At this price point, I expected much better quality.4) Finish: the brushed metal finish looks great from very far away, but many blemishes can be seem from up close from a few feet a way. This would have been acceptable for a much cheaper product, but below my expectations at around $300.

Needs battery for remote
Try posting batteries not included. You would think with a cheaply made plastic fan for the amount you pay it would come with a $4 battery or at least let the consumer know they are sold separately

I've learned to like it.
It's very quiet and sleek but looks cheaper than I was hoping, especially for the money. And it makes a very annoying, high-pitched noise every time you click a button. But overall it looks decent enough, is very quiet, and has great air movement, and the annoying sound is only for a split second.

Plastic
Like some others have said, I was expecting better quality for the price. In the detailed description under materials it says, "walnut, abs". Personally I can't find a bit of real wood in this. The blades are plastic painted to look like wood. The instructions are worse than bad. They include a second set that seems like it was, "oops, we forgot this part. Please undo everything you just did and do this first." Seriously. If you do buy this, ditch the instructions and watch the install video. I would have returned it, but the window had closed to return. It sat in the box a long time as we purchased in advance while building a house. I would not recommend this to a friend.
