Great shade
I've been looking for a shade for the outside patio for my parents restaurant and I came across this. It took a while to get it up but now that it is up I feel that it's working well. It is not waterproof, if it rains it will come through without caving in and it provides the perfect amount of shade. Getting it fastened was a little difficult, but I ended up getting EZ clips (not on Amazon) and it ended up working really well in getting it attached to the wooden frame. I can't say how well it'll hold up with Gale force winds but with a moderately windy day the shade holds up. I wish there was more color options available but the brown ended up being just fine. Will update after the summer is over with how it holds up.***UPDATE 8/6: I'll preface this by saying I live on cape cod where the weather is usually mild. That being said, last week we had the freak tornado and this shade did not hold up. It came off with the high winds and while on the whole it is intact and in good condition, when I was putting it up again I did see there were a couple holes in the fabric where some wood fragments impaled on it, and one edge (maybe 1 foot in length) has begun to unravel . Overall the damage is minimal and we are not an area that gets tornadoes so this was unusual activity, but I can tell these damages, while small for now, will probably grow bigger and become an issue if not this year than in subsequent years of use. Something to keep in mind if purchasing and you live on an area that does experience high wind events.

Keeping my west facing bedroom cool!
I bought to make "curtains" for my large window area in front bedroom that faces west and gets incredibly hot every summer. I cut to fit the fabric, sewed one end for rod pocket, used tension rods and hung so touching the windows. I have thermal curtains hung, and with both in place, it is much cooler - as in 10-15 degree drop in temperature. Easy to hang at the beginning of summer, and easy to remove when gets cool again.

Great Shade for the Patio
I wish I could order another one this size. We had this on our patio for several years. Many days of sun, wind, and rain. It really held up until about a year ago we had some hurricane force winds that made a few holes. Ready to buy a new one, but am having a hard time finding the same quality and size.

Used over portion of pergola
After a deep search for proper size, I found this. There's one side of our backyard pergola that gets most sun exposure late morning to early afternoon and this worked. I bought 6x3 (the 6' was for length - 3' wide) had to hem the length on sewing machine to tuck in fray edges. (reason for 4 stars) Then on one end created a 1" pocket to insert a dowel to assist where I needed a drop over pergola to reduce setting sun. I used 2 cable ties every 5 pergola slats to further secure sunscreen. Its unbelieve what a difference this has made for sitting during morning coffee or during late afternoon's

Makes my pergola — and my electric bill — bearable
I live somewhere that typically gets over 100 degrees fairly regularly during the summer, so I wanted something to put on my pergola that shades several large southwest-facing windows in my house. This shadecloth is sturdy, looks nice (I ordered the brown) and makes a HUGE temperature difference on hot afternoons. It hasn’t been up long enough to judge UV resistance, but it took a fair amount of stretching and pulling without tearing, and has handled some pretty high (~40-50 mph) wind gusts with aplomb. Even if it only lasts one summer, the difference in my electric bill will pay to replace it.

Happy Plants
I was trying to find a way to provide some shade for my plants and give me some privacy from a cemetery that’s behind my house. And this worked perfectly now they really can’t see me and my plants are protected from the afternoon sun.

Great shades - Used as deck curtains
We've had Patio Paradise sun shades for years. We built a roof for the deck but still needed some sun shade in the fall.We haven't had them long, but based on past experience I expect them to give us adequate shade and last years.
