He’s kind of a floppy mess with a six inch ratty beaver tail! We sat him outside in the sun on a black car trying to get this rubber coyote to loosen up enough to not look like a pancake on a stick. We also put it in the dryer on high for 15 minutes trying for the same result. After my house smelled good and nasty like burning tires I took the stinky little bugger out of the dryer and stuffed his poor droopy body full of toilet paper rolls. Since I couldn’t properly get a roll of TP into his mangled face I stuffed that full of old undies from the rag bag. Then, for added flair I took brushed the fur on that little ratty tail backward until it looked like it belonged to an over excited porcupine. WOW! What a difference! I was so impressed with myself! So, I set the little monster just inside the entryway to the house and scared the crap out of my house cleaner (laugh). The next day I put him on my husband’s side of the bed and made him scream like a girl LOL. After all that fun it was time to remove the toilet paper and underwear and set my bad boy coyote out to finally do his job and scare the hoard of pooping geese away from my pond! I was so excited! Well, that is until I took out the TP and rag bag panties and he collapsed in on himself like a whoopie cushion with a split seam! Rats!!! Anyway, he is currently in my 8 year olds room, restuffed, and growling menacingly at her toy net of plush animals. His name is Carl. (sigh).

Keeps Pesky Geese and Maybe Squirrels Away 2nd One
OK, so this is my 2nd one. Lasted years and they work pretty well. They pivot and wiggle a bit on their support to give effect of realism. Bad tail on this one. Less costly one I tried looked like crazed crap. Don't judge--HORRIBLE goose problem due to lake and area, no fences allowed, tried everything. Problem worsens every year. Tolerating the noise but the poop and torn up lawn is terrible. Seriously, no place to even step after flocks visit everyday. I actually have peace of mind right now and in the middle of this shelter at home pandemic I need all the peace I can get. DON'T FEED THEM!!! Lots of reasons.

Realistic, needs attention to get shape and didn’t scare geese
Got it to keep geese off my property. Unpacking the box the decoy is rolled into a ball and took several weeks to finally straighten out. His face looked mangled and squished still. The body had no shape. I ended up filling him with spray foam to look more real. Just need to fill his face now so he looks real. Geese already figured him out after 3 weeks and have no problem resting right next to him, in fact entire flocks.Overall the shell is good and realistic, problem is having to fill him to get a realistic shape. Would also be nice if it swiveled on the wind.

Nice little decoy
Nice little decoy. I bought this for one....coyote hunting, but 2 after watching some videos on YouTube and other sites of people using this decoy. All had commented that the telescoping feature is unique and a nice feature to have. Understandably so, because you never how tall the grass may be when you get to your setup. It is pretty light weight, so a rock or even a tent string with a couple stakes (not steaks...well maybe) should keep it upright. Which brings me to the only 4star review....the base is molded plastic, and I can't imagine it would be to hard to just add a couple of ears to the base to put stakes in to make it easier to stay upright in the field on a windier or gusty day.

Designed to fail. Fragile as a mayfly
Broke as soon as I brushed my hands across it. The whole moving column above motor housing is supported by a pin sized motor shaft that cannot possibly survive the oscillatory motion very long. After about. 5 minutes of motion. The plastic hole that motor shaft inserts into, wallowed out and whole shaft flopped along with the lil critter. Worked great in attracting my pups interest. This should not be on market.

Check battery connection
I put batteries in it and it worked great. The next set of batteries didn't work at all. What I discovered is the batteries have different lengths of positive points on them. The second set of batteries were too short and touched on the plastic housing in the battery compartment and wouldn't let the battery electrode touch the metal connection in the battery box. So I took a small screwdriver and pried the metal plate in the battery box out so that the battery electrodes would make contact with the battery box electrode. It has always work right ever since. Great decoy! Hope this helps others.

Didn't work to scare off hawks from attacking chickens.
Seemed like a good "scare crow" for hawks but as you can see a hawk took/ate a chicken 10 feet from the rubber coyote decoy. Probably a good thing to draw in real coyotes with a call but It didn't work to scare off chicken predators. It came tightly wrapped up (crushed) and hasn't expanded in a week in 70degree SoCal.I'm installing a huge anti-bird net from Amazon over the corral area next.

Follow up review after field test.
As predicted this decoy worked super great. Typically our coyotes would hang back 200 yards from the electronic caller not being able to see where the sound was coming from, THEN turn around and amble off. Now using the YOTE they come running into decoy in pairs. We need to make noise to stop them for the shot or they just keep coming. We hunt at night and coyotes are color blind so the outline is all we need. Our hunt success has multiplied three fold using the YOTE. I actually watched a pair of coyotes run past the electronic caller, then look back to see the decoy, and turn 90 degrees to run towards the YOTE. IT WORKS. Going to buy another to add more realism to our decoy scene.
