High quality and absolutely leak proof. I mounted one to my roof, and one to my hitch carrier for a 2700 mile trip and these boxes performed flawlessly. they have multiple spots to run straps through while still keeping a watertight seal, and I could also padlock the corner for extra security. I used one as a racoon proof food box at my camp site once we were at our destination.

Product is durable and spacious. Great for many different uses.

Solid construction. Definitely built well and will last a long time. Perfect size for the bed of my short bed pickup. I have a tonneau cover so the hanging storage boxes were not an option. This offers great waterproof storage space. The clasps on the front are sturdy and well made. I do not anticipate any issues with this storage box for as long as I own it. The only thing I would change is to add rubber feet to the bottom so that it does not slide around so easily in the bed of the truck. I used a bungy strap to secure it. The box does have indented locations for straps to lay and stay nicely.

Overall I am happy with the box. I knew I would be drilling holes and mounting to my roof rack, so I didn't want a high dollar one. I am completely dissapointed in the latch mechanism. It seems sturdy enough, but NO way to get your fingers under it to pull it, I have to carry a small tool with me to flip them up. Surprised that I'm the first I have seen to complain about that.

ATTENTION AMAZON customer service. I needed a nice sturdy travel box for out of state road trips. This is the perfect (only) size that works for me and it is quite sturdy (very similar to some we used when I was in the Army). Where it says "what's in the box" it CLEARLY SAYS WITH WHEELS!!!! The AI section (Rufus) also CLEARLY SAYS, "Yes, it has wheels, and "The 117 quart dry storage box COMES WITH WHEELS FOR EASY TRANSPORT". I presumed that there were hidden or retracted wheels on the box. That is absolutely NOT THE TRUTH! There are NO WHEELS. Now I have to contemplate trying to fashion some type of rolling system (drilling holes?) or spending more money and buying from another manufacturer. At best a TWO STAR rating for the deceptive ad, but at least a FOUR STAR (indicated above) for the quality of the box itself. This exact same box, WITH WHEELS, would be a five star.

The box seems extremely well made. Much heavier duty than I first thought looking at the price point. I included some photos showing the 18 slots through the top lip that can be used for mounting...Nice! The handles can be easily slid out and removed without tools. The center of the 3 slots, in all 6 locations, has a lowered lip to allow a 1" wide strap to be used with the lid closed. There are holes in the front corners to allow for a padlock, with the one on the right going through the metal bottle opener. The latches seem to work fine but I'll probably run a strap over the center of the box as peace of mind. That along with the two locks should keep the lid secure. We'll be testing it soon in the California Desert... I'll update if there are any problems that pop up.
