I was looking for a straw that isn't plastic or paper. Pictures and description were ideal for what I was looking for. In fact, what I received has nothing to do with what was described. The "straw" looks like hay, at the look, at the touch, but also as it is so fragile. It breaks very easily and most of them ARE already broken, hence, unusable. They may probably be environment friendly, but you can't even use them as straws. They would probably be helpful if you have rabbits. Very, very disappointing. Do not waste your money for these hay sticks.

They splinter in the mouth very very easily. I had to throw them away so not good value for money.

I revived pack of straw but not straws. It look like someone picked grass with holes and let it dry.

Such good quality straws. We used them at our Juice Bar and they hold well in juices and smoothies. I even tried to test them overnight and no sogging whatsoever. Definitely recommend!

I needed straws for a lesson aid to teach my students about insect proboscis. These worked brilliantly, and I didn't feel guilty buying them since they are non-plastic and biodegradable. I used them at my last dinner party and they were a hit. They last many hours, even in hot liquids, and do not have a taste or smell like other eco-friendly straws I have used in the past.
