Great Game for Up to 5 Players
Great card game for up to 5 players, 6 is if you want to have someone handle the rest of the cards and be the "Dungeon Master" so to speak. Each player plays wit ha different (included) deck of cards, with different amounts of resources based on your class. Then, you defeat cards based on those in hand resources. Under time pressure. 5 included bosses, easy instructions, easy fun. There is a free, but unnecessary timer app for the game - it adds a timer, music, and announcer for the timer.Overall, I'm not a huge gamer but the family loves it and it's somethign we enjoy playing together. :D

Fast-Paced, Stressful, Fun!
Okay, let me set the scene. Late nights... pizza boxes piled high, snacks everywhere, and a group of us huddled around a table, eyes glued to the board, laughter and shouts filled the room. Those were our "glory days" with 5-Minute Dungeon.Fast forward, years later, and the memories of those late-night gaming sessions had faded, replaced by bill payments, martial arts practice schedules, and the ever-present existential dread of laundry. Then, out of the blue, my husband mentioned 5-Minute Dungeon in a casual, yet conversation.A jolt, a flicker of recognition. The floodgates opened. Suddenly, I was transported back to those carefree college nights, the camaraderie, and the shared joy of victory.I knew I had to buy it. Not just for myself, but for my long-suffering husband, who was suddenly obsessed with playing again, and for our children, so we could play with them, as they are at that magical age where they're fun to play games with. And so, the game arrived. The initial excitement was palpable. We gathered around the board, my husband and I eager to relive those glory days. The first few rounds were…rocky. I was a little rusty and a little frantic. Our children, predictably, were chaotic. We threw cards down, we strategized, we admittedly, almost gave up.But then, something magical happened. We started to get into the groove. The laughter returned, the fun of the game returned. We reveled in our shared victory.A new game was added to family game night. 5-Minute Dungeon had not only brought back cherished memories, but it had also forged new ones.

Super Fun!
I bought this game on a whim for a friends Christmas present without looking too much into it. I saw it was a Dungeons and Dragons sort of game and was immediately sold. We finally did our Christmas in July and decided to break it open after handing out all the gifts and we were all loving it. Super fun and quick, very easy to learn. 5 of us played it and it was a great size group for it. Definitely review the cards before you play as a lot of them do different things, and you don't want to spend precious seconds of your 5 minutes reading it and figuring it out. The app for the game is cute too with the different voices. You can definitely just use a regular timer too if you want, but the app does add to the fun.

Fun enough. Simple but difficult.
There's not much to this game besides communication and time management. I'll probably re-gift it.Also I heard online the character mats break down over time.

Fast, easy play and fun for the whole family - great expansion
My kids absolutely love this game and the expansion pack. It was fast to learn and easy to play. And best of all, it ends within 5 minutes of game time (minus pauses to the clock) every time. The expansion pack adds two new character panels (4 total new characters) as well as curses cards to the enemies deck. It's a subtle but fun tweak to the overall game play and adds to the replayability. If you're enjoying the base game, this is certainly worth it.

A Great Addition to a Fun Game
My gaming group just loves the original five minute dungeon. The curses do make the bosses feel more unique on our journey to fight them and not just when we're looking at the tile for that final fight. The curses are strangely difficult, especially when you can't communicate the way you're used to.I will say if you did not like the original game, this is not going to change your mind. If you love the original game, aren't completely tired of it, this does make it harder, more unique and the new player option is fun as is having more players. More players and more chaos is not a poor choice in my book! The game is still a play the spirit of the game mentality, so you need to play the curses properly, don't let one person dominate the entire table and just sit back and have a blast. Any five minute dungeon fan is going to want to add this to their game, and yes we have play 5-6 players. It's just a joy to play.
