Ok, Here it is. This is a full size electric grill. Heavy , Feel of a gas grill , but EZ to use! It shines in that it will hold a steady temperature, Plug in a regular outlet and it will sit there at 275° and slow cook and render chicken legs, close the lid and walk away, slow cook ribs or pork butt, add some wet chips to grill top! Of turn it up for burgers or steaks, it sears! 709°!Great grill marks! I believe this is the first time an electric grill has the heft and feel of a propane grill. Nice xl digital temp readout. Self cleaning,but do not expect it to look like new, it burns the grease off but it still looks like a grill on the inside. I love this grill Charbroil is cutting edge with this. Nothing else out there like it! Buy the Charbroil cover made for it. Fits really well,tailored to it. Go green, go electric!

I purchased the Char-Broil Edge Electric Grill and have been pleasantly surprised by its performance and convenience. Heating Time: While the grill takes a bit of time to heat up, which is expected for an electric model, it's not a significant inconvenience. I have just adjusted how early I go out to start preheating the grill and just take into account the longer heat-up time. Once it's up to temperature, it cooks effectively. Size and Assembly: The size of the grill is ideal, especially for those with limited space. It's compact yet provides ample cooking area. The assembly process was straightforward and hassle-free, which was a big plus. Usage and Cooking Experience: I use this grill very often, and it consistently delivers great results. The food cooks evenly, and the grill maintains its temperature well during the cooking process. I have not had any issues so far. Cleaning and Maintenance: Although finding the right cleaning brush for the grill rack has been a challenge and I really have not found a great one that fits well to its grate, the cleaning process isn't too cumbersome. When the grill rack gets particularly dirty, washing it with soap and warm water does the trick, making it look as good as new. Ideal for Limited Spaces: This grill is a fantastic option for those who don't have the space for a large grill or can't use propane grills due to restrictions. It's an excellent alternative that doesn't compromise on the quality of grilling. Overall Satisfaction: I am thrilled with the Char-Broil Electric Grill. The layout, performance and idea behind this product are great - especially if you live in a condo where you are required to have an electric grill. That all comes with a huge BUT. They are great if the product works - this one doesn’t. I have had two elements fail - one was replaced and I have been waiting 8 MONTHS for the second replacement part. This grill is always covered. I wanted to love this grill, but can’t because I have had what amounts to a door stop for 8 months. And per customer service there is no end in sight for when a replacement part will be available.

I purchased this electric grill for my daughter who lives in an apartment. Since she cannot have a gas grill, I opted for electric. However, this is the third electric grill I have purchased. The first two would not hold heat at a consistent temperature once the food was placed on the grill. The temp would go from 500 to 300 and never recover. However, this grill holds temperature consistently, cooks evenly, as well as gives those much sought after grill marks. Also, the self cleaning feature is a real winner. For those of you where space is at a premium, the two shelves fold to the side for a slimmer profile. As far as putting the grill together, it took at 45 minutes. The instructions were well written and easy to follow. There were no missing pieces! I would highly recommend this grill if you are in the market for an electric grill.

Love this grille. Moved to a second floor condo that didn't allow gas grilles on upper patios. Iwas very pleased with this grille.

After a year of using it, I think I can give a more than accurate review. I do not recommend this product in the least, it may look pretty and fancy in photos, super technological due to its digital panel but it is far from being functional. Cleaning the grill is a complete headache which makes the desire to use it less and less, it is impossible to clean it even with degreaser or with the help of the self-cleaning option that does nothing but generate smoke like in a fire and even so it remains complicated to clean. The worst part, however, is that being an outdoor grill, having it on a covered balcony, with a grill official cover 24x7, bringing it into the house in the face of strong storms, the grill is full of rust stains on the outside and the folding tables on the sides. . I think that speaks to the quality of its materials, right? I am an extremely careful person and I love to barbecue but this grill has been a pain in…, I even tried throughout the year to request replacement parts through the official char broil site (seeing that several panels were wearing out quickly) and I never got parts available. I went from a basic George Foreman outdoor grill to this grill that multiplies x5 the value of a Foreman and I can say that it is not even worth it, the only positive thing it has is the design, size and the folding tables on the sides but everything mentioned ruins overshadows the positive. I do not recommend.

So far, so good. I am going to enjoy not having to worry about going to get gas for my grill. I cooked salmon the other night and it was delicious. I used my cast iron griddle insert instead of the grill grates.
