Works well, excellent value, built well, and you get two for what I would pay for one!
Works great, seems like a very sturdy connection on the USB-C side, worried it might wear out my phone's port, just very snug. Definitely louder on my laptop than the built-in headphone jack, can't explain that. Might actually be better quality audio. I'm definitely going to use it more when I'm listening on my Framework 13 vs. using Bluetooth if I can help it. It's currently driving a pair of KZ ZSN Pros with thick foam eartips. Originally just bought these thinking they were bare wire connections, but it's a full on little DAC chip hiding in there! Would recommend.

Very good adapter, but you may not like the change in sound signature depending on the headphones
I don’t normally write reviews, but I wanted to share my thoughts on this adapter. I used a pair of higher end planar magnetic headphones, a pair of Koss Porta Pros, and some VJJB earbuds (Amazing set!) with an iPad Pro 12.9, and compared it to a bundled adapter that we got with either a pair of headphones from google or a usb c phone (I can’t remember, but it’s a standard adapter). From my comparing headphones and the other adapter. These are more V shaped, however, oiver emphasized treble can make music sound too harsh. That happened with one set of headphones I used, the Koss. Also, on all of these I didn’t have turn up my volume as much to reach the same volume. This adapter should get your headphones louder if you need that. Planar Magnetics = Right away, I can tell the details in music are more defined, and intense. The headphones I am using are a warmer set, meaning the treble isn’t over emphasized. The most obvious difference to music that I can hear is it increases the treble a good bit. Not to the point of sibilance, but it changed the sound signature of these a lot. My guess is a boost in the 1k-4K range. There is also a bass boost a little, but these headphones are not bass heavy so it didn’t come through as much as the others. Koss = It feels like the balance is off with this adapter vs the standard. The change in the frequency response ruins these headphones for me. Things are more intense, but not in a good way. These are more bass headphones. That is increased some, but the treble and mids sound off. They need to be dialed back. I guess you can with an EQ, but I am listening stock. Also, while it did make things a little clearer, it made them sound worse overall due to an imbalance of sound. VJJB = These reacted like the first pair, but the bass was more impacted. They already sounded really good, but this adapter increased their quality. Treble didn’t really go up, but was more emphasized and intense. By intense I mean there is more impact by the mids/highs. Piano hits have more force, cymbal crashes have more splash, etc. Details come out with more force. All in all, I am pleased. Just beware depending on the headphones you use it may help or hurt them, but 2 out of 3 of mine I tested with it helped.

Almost Perfect
I purchased a Google Pixal 2 and was disappointed to find that it had no headphone jack. I only have 1 pair of bluetooth earbuds but a dozen pairs of heads-free earbuds and wanted a way to keep using them. These converters seemed like the perfect solution. They look and fee very sturdy. The wires have good insulation and I'm not worried about fraying. The USB doggle fits snuggly into my phone and hasn't disconnected in the 2+ weeks I've been using it. The headphone jack port is also a good fit with no looseness to it. The audio translates extremely well through the converter. My music actually sounds better then when I was just using a headphone jack straight from a phone. My first few calls using it coupled with a heads free headphone set with microphone had the people on the other end of the call saying they had a hard time hearing me. But since then I haven't had any complaints. It was probably coincidence and not connected to the converter. My only true complaint is that when I have the convert plugged it with headphones and I get a call, my phone will ring audibly from the phone as well as through the headphones. It's like my phone doesn't quite recognize that it should be sending all audio through the converter. This doesn't happen when I'm using bluetooth headphones. It's a minor complaint though. Overall I would recommend these converters. They are a lot cheaper than bluetooth and they work great!

Works great in my old car
In my old Acura I have a headphone jack for aux input and since most cell phones no longer have that as an output option I needed this adapter. It works great so I can use my phone for music since my car doesn't have the capability to stream.

WOW! Two are definitely better than one!!
To the dismay of many, the headphone jack port is quickly going the way of the dinosaur. Making matters worse is the fact that some customers may find themselves choosing phones that come in second to the one that they would really like to have, mainly because of the absent headphone jack. Thankfully the Stouchi USB Type-C Digital Audio Adapter affords customers the opportunity to have their cake and eat it too. Now they are able to buy the phone that truly meets their needs and still enjoy the flexibility to use plug in earbuds or headphones which are more affordable, rather than having to purchase Bluetooth products that require frequent charging. I use this adapter with the OnePlus 7 Pro phone and I am very happy with the purchase. Being a music lover I often like to listen to music through my A/V receiver 5.1 surround sound system. I have a Pioneer VSX-D711 receiver and I connect the OnePlus 7 Pro phone to it via the Stouchi Digital Audio Adapter and a 3.5mm Stereo to RCA Audio Cable (please see photo) which is very inexpensive. This has made me a very happy camper. Pros: ● the wire is very short and will not get tangled ● it's lightweight but seems to be sturdy, flexible and well made ● no obvious reason to question reliability over time ● LED light lets you know that you have connected properly ● the music sound that I experienced was clear and rich ● volume control on your earbuds is supported (please note that if your earbuds do not have volume controls this adapter does not have volume controls incorporated into it) ● it's compatible with many devices including the OnePlus 7 Pro ● you get TWO adapters in the package (very nice!!!) ● LIFETIME WARRANTY! (Now this feature rocks) ● there are other features that I have not tested Cons: Nothing to report here!!!!!! I am very happy with this purchase. The price is very good especially since you get two adapters in the package. I payed $16.90 in June of 2020 and the price as of this review is down to $14.90.

Great while it lasted...
Hi, thanks for checking out my review... I chose this adapter because of the overall decent reviews and Fake Spot rating. I got the two pack and kept one for myself and gave one to my wife. Her needs are simple... She uses it only a few times a week only to attach a Square card reader to her phone to swipe a credit card at work. So far she has had no problems. But I use mine daily, several times a day, with headphones... Attaching and detaching it from my phone (Note 20 Ultra) each time. And based on that use case, I'm concerned about their longevity. The issue is not the DAC itself, but the wiring between connectors. Both ends of the adapter seem quality and fit snugly. I'm pretty careful with it, but I don't baby it... Completely average use. I keep the adapter attached to my headphones, curled up in my backpack when not in use. Not wound or curled tightly, simply draped around my palm a couple times and set in my backpack pocket. And obviously, when I put them away I make sure I'm not bending the adapter wire. I try and keep that straight. After about three weeks, it started cutting out. Just small crackles here and there, if the my cord wasn't perfectly still. After about a week of that it started becoming more and more frequent and is now unreliable unless the phone and headphone wire are completely still and not moving. I probably average about five times a day usage, unplugging them each time I'm done listening. When these cut outs happen, not only will the sound crackle, but the connection interruption will cause the audio to pause. Or worse yet to start if I have paused it while I try and reposition the cord. This interruption will also trigger my Google Assistant. Very frustrating. So basically that's it... Great build quality, other than this issue with the wiring. Great sound when it does work. But I'm going to have to try another style. Hope that is useful information for someone. Thanks for reading!

Caveat: Very good but not audiophile good by any means.
An audiophile product for $14? I had to try this out! After listening to this for some time, I highly doubt that this is really sampling at the 32KBPS and 192KHZ. Sounds more like 16KBPS. Plugging this into my Huawei P30 and it sounds exactly the same as the DAC already built into the phone. No better and no worse and there is no volume boost of amplification going on. Very plain vanilla sound with no discernible difference or sound signature to speak of. What am I comparing against? ASIN B07B9137WS. That has an ESS Sabre chip (can't recall the number), 24KBPS at 192KHZ with a very discernible punchy sound but it has cable problems If your phone does not have an audio jack, then go ahead and buy this. You will not be disappointed. Otherwise if your phone has USB C as well as an audio jack, save your $14. However, this does have a lot of pros and here they are: 1. Fits snugly and feels well built. I like how the audio jack has a metal sleeve over the actual female jack. 2. Noise is barely detectable, but it is there if you very closely listen for it. 3. Microphone and remote work too. This would have been a huge plus for me, if only it sounded nicer than what my phone already outputs. 4. Most others cost twice as much. Here you're getting two for half the price of one. Hard to beat that. How they are selling this product at this price is a head scratcher. 5. Some reviewers mentioned that theirs got warm or hot. I did not notice that. I also did not notice my battery draining any faster.
