Good design, houses cabinet files , and is not too big for storing important documents and keep them safe.

I found it easy to use for A4 folders if you use it from the long side. Lock is a bit fiddly but quite adequate. I put the contents of a filing cabinet drawer in it and could still lift it even though I have arthritis. It did the job well.

The only disappointment is there is no index cards and the box is a very tight A4 fit. The box itself is sturdy and looks great. So with a little adaptation it does the job well.

A great quality storage box ,not the cheapest but certainly not disappointed with my purchase.

This is well made and light compared to a metal box file. The lock works well. However it doesn’t take A4 hanging files.

I spilt some liquid near important documents recently, luckily not damaged but this is a great protector for liquid or fire!

Despite the photos showing hanging file A4 does NOT fit. Too small on the width and the depth. So the search for a fire proof box that take industry standard A4 hanging files continues. Old fashion legal definitely won’t fit.

Vet inte om material i lådan tål verkligen både eld och vatten men blixtlåset gör definitivt inte det. Blixtlåset är gjort av vanlig material och är inte impregnerat eller förstärkt på något sätt. Dessutom om man lägger sina grejer på hög så lyfts locket ett par cm och då har man bara det enkla blixtlåset där. Betrakta det som en vanlig förvaringslåda - ej brand eller vattensäker

Bought this fireproof document box about 2 months ago to organize and protect important family documents in one central location. The size is generous at 16.1 x 12.9 x 11 inches and easily holds passports, birth certificates, insurance papers, and photo albums with room to spare. The mesh pocket on the lid is handy for frequently accessed items like current bills or receipts. The aluminum foil lining gives it a serious fireproof appearance though obviously I can’t test the 5200°F claim without destroying it. However, setting the combination lock has been frustrating - it took several attempts following the instructions to get it programmed correctly, and even now it sometimes doesn’t open on the first try despite entering the right code. The double zipper system works smoothly when the lock cooperates. The handles make it easy to carry when full and the reflective strips are a thoughtful safety feature. The PP material construction feels sturdy and the box maintains its shape even when packed full. The anti-static exterior does seem to repel dust better than regular plastic storage boxes. The non-slip pads on the bottom keep it stable on shelves. The waterproof claim seems accurate based on a few minor spill tests. For document organization it’s excellent with plenty of space for growing families’ paperwork. The folding capability is useful for storage when empty. Build quality seems solid for long-term use. Would recommend mainly for the storage capacity and peace of mind, just be patient with the lock setup process.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Die Box ist handlich und geräumig. Hergestellt in Deutschland, Preis und Qualität Top. Natürlich haben wir keine Erfahrung, wie sicher Dokumente bei einem Brand oder Waserschaden sind, doch sind wir sehr zuversichtlich. Habe bereits schon zwei weitere Boxen gekauft und verschenkt.
