My childhood was difficult but not horrendous as Dave's. I think the effects of child abuse can shape the individual one is becoming. I pray that I can have a happy life after reading Dave's inspiring testimony. Thank you for sharing with us, Dave!

I loved the other books by Dave Pelzer but for some reason I found this one boring. Maybe because there is no story line

I read his three previous books & was amazed at how he survived & his abnormal courage as a child &into adulthood. I love Help Yourself & am still reading it, highlighting so many things that are helping me.I would recommend this book to anyone as a self-help book.

It was a very good book..the book was in great shape.

Bought this used and arrived in very good condition. A good follow on to the trilogy of books I read by Dave Pelzer. Very inspiring read and recommended to the younger dissolutioned generation of today.
