More fun than a kid in a candy store
Should I feel bad about killing flies? They're get in my apartment and are really annoying. I feel that my sense of calm is more important than there life. Its pretty messed up. I read recently that there like simple computers that have pre-programmed behaviors in response to certain stimuli. I've been using that as my justification. Is this villainous? Have there been any schools of thought on this topic? Somebody help me out, anything helps. Because there is a glassed in porch up here by my apt. that flies are always getting into (gaps). Several try to get in here whenever I open the door. That is an asinine thing for them to do. I open the door. Fly: I am trapped in a large, bright space, so I'll wait until I can get into a small, darker enclosed space. And I hate using Raid for obvious reasons. So I got a fly zapper racket for $10. This thing is more fun than a kid in a candy shop. And it is loud zapping 4000 volts into a fly. Best place to go is the windows they hang out which are bright like where they came from. killed two so far. I have to take the trash out. That will be thrilling. It appears that this zapper is not effective against gnats. They are too small for the grid.

Worth the extra money!
I ordered a cheaper version of this item from a random seller. It worked about the same, except after a couple weeks, the switch broke, rendering the swatter impossible to use. This Black & Decker swatter does sometimes take a couple zaps to kill an insect, but I don't mind. If it were more powerful, I'd risk hurting myself (or my pets, though I never use this near them). I use this primarily for mosquitoes, and for that it works great! Annihilate them mid-air, or if you catch them lurking, gently lower the swatter over them, then tap, and they'll panic and fly right into the swatter. Also great for exploratory sweeps, to zap bugs you can't see, like those ankle-biters under the desk. If a bug is just minding their own business, I'll leave them alone, but don't repeatedly fly in my face or try sucking my blood -- you will face The Zapper.

Excelente compra!!
