Wonderful new product for diabetics.
Excellent flavor, clean, not dusty. Wonderful for my wife, who is a diabetic. The rice is just what the doctor would have ordered if he had ever heard of it.

Am diabetic and PARISH WHITE RICE does NOT spike my blood sugars at all...not even 2 and 3 hours after eating! AMAZING healthy product finally on the market when it comes to rice! cooks like regular rice. No one knows the difference!!! just has higher amounts of protein which is healthier. Yum
Really love this race. It’s a game changer for my well-being and my digestion. Been having a lot less IBS symptoms. I’m also feeling like this is a really decent tasting rice. Wish I would’ve come across this sooner. Bonus, this has a lot of protein for rice.

No Serious Blood Spikes Here!!
I am really glad I found this rice. I am type 2 diabetic and this is the only rice that doesn't do a dramatic spike to my blood sugar. It does raise it some but not out of range. I rinse the rice several times before cooking and add 1 & 3/4 cups of water to 1 cup of rice. Put it on the stove, bring to a boil, reduce to low heat and cook for 18 minutes. Perfect every time!

Good, not great
I write this review as someone who typically cooks with basmati, koshihikari, or jasmine rice, so your impressions may differ. Regarding aroma and flavor this rice is not very different than most generic white rices. I typically rinse rice before cooking to remove excess starch from the kernels, and this rice rinsed clean immediately - perhaps due to the higher protein content? It took slightly longer to fully cook, about 22 minutes versus 20 for one cup in two cups of water. The cooked kernels were distinct and had a pleasant tooth - definitely not mushy. We decided that this rice would be best for "sopping-up" when topped with stews or red beans, or an ingredient in dishes like jambalaya. It isn't flavorful enough to stand on its own.

Great for diabetics
If you are diabetic and enjoy rice, you have found your solution. Tastes and cooks like normal rice. It did not cause a sugar spike.
