Very Flimsy Does Not Instill Confidence For Long-Term Use
I purchased the Avery 1 1/2" 19650 to hold a printed PDF of a textbook that is 382 pages printed on 191 sheets of paper. The binder arrived damaged with a significant distortion to the edge of the top of the cover. The cover plastic is so loose that there is approximately a 1/2" gap and the printed cover page does not sit securely and will, under the right circumstances, slide out. The covers are very flexible to the point where they can could be bent/creased. The seams seem to be way too thin and offer little to no confidence in the long-term durability of the binder. If it proves me wrong, I will happily edit this review. The binder mechanism itself works beautifully and is aligned well. No hangups when turning the pages. This is honestly the only positive quality of this binder. It binds. Yay? I was not expecting a vault that would hold archival quality work, but I was not expecting to have to replace this binder before the completion of the course (approximately 9 months) for the printed materials it is binding. We will see. We will see.
