Rich People Problems (Crazy Rich Asians Trilogy) Review: enthralling & delicious! - Couldn’t put it down. The food was described so well, I felt like I was eating it myself. Historical fiction meets soap opera! Review: One of my favorite series! - I love these books. I know I say that for just about every book review but they are so good. The characters are hilarious and easy to get emotionally attached too. At one point I wanted to just die for poor Rachel dealing with Nicks mom. I couldn’t believe what she did and I laughed so hard. This book is a little bit more emotional because there is a death but no spoilers and I was truly sad but happy with the ending. I want another one! I need more of Astrid and I want the next chapter for Rachel and Nick. These books are easy to read and lots of fun and that’s why I enjoy them so much!

Enjoyable Read!
I pre-ordered this book in Amazon Kindle and it was automatically delivered to me on the day of the launch. Such joy, joy, joy! This is is probably the only book (aside from Harry Potter books) which I read and devoured on the first day. It was back to Singapore again with the Young-Shang-T'sien clan because Grandmummy Su Yi had a heart attack. We were introduced to new characters like Auntie Cat (the Thailand Youngs) and her family, and some other secondary and tertiary characters. The book revolved around Shang Su Yi (and her back story), Astrid & Charlie, Nick & Rachel, and the Young sisters. Kitty and her new found wealth also played a big role in the story. This is a very good and enjoyable read that will take the readers back to the excessive and extravagance spending of the Asian rich. Though I must admit that the characters on the third book are less "severe" in spending compared to the first two books. I loved this better than the second book (China Rich Girlfriend) because I loved Nick's family and their craziness better than the drama of Rachel's family. I have some questions about this book and I hope that Kevin Kwan will keep writing about these lively Asian characters that we all come to love. Special shout out for the mentions aabout Philippines and our gorgeous Palawan islands and beaches. Funny though that he mentioned "Diego San Antonio" and "Tommy Yip" in the book. Everyone who's anyone in the Philippines knows who these characters are. Another fun read! Thanks, Kevin Kwan! We want more!

Love this books and Kevin Kwan.
This appears to be the last in the trilogy...so far of the Kevin Kwan books. His first two Crazy Rich Asians and China Rich Girlfriend were excellent books and this books is no different, the author's writing style I really liked. This book is continuing the story of all the characters from the first two books. I really liked the back story of Su Yi the matriarch of the Shang-Young clan, the elderly grandmother in the storyline in all the books. Just her story alone could lead to another book. But once again the whole family gets together (along with their maids and nannies) at the deathbed of Su Yi. This books somewhat sums up many of the character story lines and again this book is filled with wealth unimaginable and funny stories. A must read, I loved it.

not as good as the first one
not as good as the first one, it felt like the author was extending the story unnecessary. But it was ok

Read them in order
I bought the entire trilogy at once. I so enjoyed the first book that I immediately went on to the second, only to realize near the end, that I was reading the 3rd book. Even so, I was able to understand everything. However, when finished with the 3rd, I delved into the second, and had many aha moments, so this is why this happened and so forth. I loved this trilogy and recommend reading it in the correct order. All of the top reviews say everything I believe. I will go a step further. If you are not into big spending and consider it obnoxious, then this series is not for you. I thoroughly ENJOY all the brand names and exciting places. I am now passing the trilogy on to my best friend. I'm sure she will love it as much as I did. It may bot be a pulitzer prize winner but it is definitely entertaining. Oh yes, and I DID skim the final book again to clarify some of the finer points.

Satisfying Conclusion to the CRA Trilogy
I enjoyed Rich People Problems (⭐️⭐️⭐️💫), the final book in the Crazy Rich Asians trilogy, but not as much as the two previous books in the series. I thought RPP was a little too long, too many storylines and featured too much Kitty Pong and Eddie Cheng. Although, Eddie provided the comic relief. He is the epitome of ridiculousness. Overall it just felt uneven. However, for the most part, Rich People Problems is a satisfying conclusion to the Crazy Rich Asians saga.

5 star summer read
The third book in this amazing trilogy that has opened the world of the "crazy rich asians" to many of us for the first time, is an excellent, very entertaining and well written summer read. Full of mind boggling fashion, interior design, food and spending excesses, this grand finale takes the reader on a journey full of emotional suspense and plot twists, as many familiar and a few new characters meet again in Singapore and in stunning, luxurious locales across the planet. I loved and enjoyed this book from the first page to the last and read it way too fast. Time to read them all again from the beginning on the beach this summer. Kevin Kwan is masterful at being extremely entertaining, creating a literary world, characters and locations that I can see, hear, smell and feel and weaving a web of relationships that display a deep understanding of the intricacies of life and human perceptions, desires and interactions. Thus I have found myself again and again in the characters of his books and have come away enriched from immersing myself in this strange world.

Book 3 is by far the most funniest of the trilogy - there are so many laugh out loud moments. The character Eddie Cheng is so funny and hilarious. I'm not usually a fan of book-to-film adaptations, but I'm genuinely interested in watching the final film adaptation. The author pokes fun at those living the high society life depicting how shallow and fickle some of them can be. The final book focuses less on the storyline of Rachel Chu and Nick Young, and instead focuses more on Astrid Leong and Charlie Wu's storyline which I personally find was more interesting. One thing that wasn't touched upon in the story, was what did Nick's mother Eleanor do years and years ago that made Nick's dying grandmother ask Nick's dad whether he has forgiven her - what did she do? The author doesn't tell us or was this already mentioned in book 1 or 2 which I have forgotten? I like how the author provides readers with a bit of history on Singapore - how it was once invaded by the Japanese. Anyway, it was a good read and I look forward to reading more works by this author.

Jaja.

This was interesting and dramatic fiction that revolved around whole new level of craziness when Rachel set her feet in China to meet her father and his family. The story was about Rich people and their lifestyle, snobbery, family drama, power play, money personalities and behavioral change, East Asian culture, friendship, and love. Like first book this was more character driven and once again secondary characters shadowed Nick and Rachel. We get to read more about Astrid and Michael. Colette surprisingly got lot of focus in story. She was Rachel’s brother, Carlton’s China Rich Girlfriend. Kitty’s character and her part of story was entertaining but I still don’t get her importance here. Rachel’s new family’s dynamic and their issues with each other and with Rachel entering their life was well written. I enjoyed reading Nick and Rachel and their dramatic adventure in China. Best part of the book was reading about new places of China and Hong Kong, all amazing details on culture, food, dresses, crazy rich extravagant lifestyle, social cues, and footnotes. Why 4 stars- Like I said I don’t get the importance of Kitty’s character in this. There was too much focus on Kitty and Colette than main characters and their issues. Also Charlie’s wife’s story felt unbelievable. Overall, China Rich Girlfriend was interesting, dramatic, entertaining and extravagant rich fiction with amazing details on East Asian culture and lifestyle. I recommend this if you like, First book in series interesting characters Character driven plot so much details on culture and lifestyle drama gossip magazines and blogs well written family dynamic some insightful and some epic moments
