Deeper nasal only breathing during exercise!
I’ve got a deviated septum that makes breathing through the nose only tough during workouts, even though my nasal breathing is fine otherwise. These Airmax Unisex Sport Nasal Dilators seriously open things up—noticeable boost in airflow right away. I hesitated because of the price, but now realize, they’re worth every penny. They stay put perfectly (even on the treadmill), feel almost invisible once they’re in, and make a real difference. Just make sure you get the right size, I'm a large man and the medium is a perfect fit. Highly recommend if you want easier, deeper nasal only breathing during exercise!

I like em! But, you’ve gotta get used to em.
Had a gift card to spend and picked these up just to try them out. I don’t necessarily have any sinus issues- No sleep apnea, No issues breathing or anything, I was just curious. Tried sleeping with them on the first night I got them and they were a little uncomfortable. Ended up pulling them out after about 4 hours or so. Worked out with them, the next morning, and I did notice an improvement in my performance. Next night and morning workout was about the same. Last night, however, I was able to keep them in all night. And, the workout next morning felt really good. I’m not gonna sugarcoat this- you are shoving a thing up your nose. It’s not a natural act. So, it will take time to get used to. That said, once you do get used to it, you very well may see an improvement in your nose breathing like I did.

Not for me. Uncomfortable if you need to remove for any reason..
It is ok, but not comfortable. if you have to blow your nose and keep pulling it out and putting it back into your nose. There is a ridge, that pinches your nose, but feels more like a hook. Every time I remove the device, it feels like my nose is being ripped open. I get better results from wadding up tissue and opening my nose by stuffing the tissue in my nose. It opens the pathway and doesn't hook into my inner "sensitive" skin

Uncomfortable to Wear
Having tried the medium orange dilator and the small blue dilator, I found both less than optimal: the blue being too small for my nose, and the medium orange, though a good fit, was too conspicuous because of its color. These transparent sport ones have extra pieces that grip the columella in an uncomfortable manner, thus rendering it too painful to wear after a while.

Great tool for runners!
These actually worked! For anyone who has been suffering from stuffiness that won’t go away and impacting your athletic performance, this is a huge help. My son is cross country runner who has dealt with ongoing congestion and using nasal strips to try to breathe though his nose when he races. While this felt a little funny at first, using the nasal dilators allowed him to finish his race without complaining about breathing. Highly recommend.

Tradeoffs
Pro: the little barbs keep it hooked in your nose for sure Con: the little barbs hurt after a while They definitely keep your nasal passage open, and they stay in place, but I'd only use them for a couple hours at most. I prefer the softer ones without the barbs, but they slip out too easily. Guess we need a middle ground still. I cut the barbs off mine but they still irritate since the cut isn't even. These feel like a different, stiffer material than the softer ones.
