This mascara is great and works better than a nearly $40 Lancôme mascara that I recently purchased. I’d been getting lash extensions for years and recently decided to give my lashes a break and switch back to regular mascara. I wanted something that would give me a lot of length and separation as my lashes are very fine and lack volume. I purchased a very expensive Lancôme mascara as I’d always had good luck with them. Well, after maybe 5 uses, the Lancôme wand snapped in two pieces and I was unable to use the rest of the product. I was mad and didn’t want to spend another small fortune to replace it, so i started looking for a cheaper option. That’s where this one came in. And oh my god! It works even better than the Lancôme. I’m dead serious. No clumping, so much length and so much separation! The application is easy and mess free and I’ve found that there’s been pretty much no smudging or transferring even when I get sweaty. I hope this mascara is around for a long time because it truly works better than almost every luxury brand that I’ve tried. I’ll continue to purchase as long as it’s being made.

I needed a new mascara and purchased this based on reviews. This is a great mascara that gives volume and length. For something different, I decided to try the color "Burgandy Haze." I am fair-skinned with hazel/green eyes and usually buy mascara in Brown. This color brings out the green in my eyes and, surprisingly, while it looks burgandy on the brush it doesn't look that color on your lashes. It just looks like a rich brownish color. Very pretty. Great mascara and will purchase it again!

This is a GREAT mascara! It’s a fine tooth brush making it very easy to apply. I only needed one coat, although with additional coats there was no clumping, no thickness, no mess. It makes your lashes look very long, but natural. Great item. Great price point!

I have a complicated relationship with mascara. I don't exactly love it, but I kinda need it because my lashes are so light blonde that when I don't wear any, I look like I don't even have lashes. One complicated aspect of our relationship is either they change, or I do. I LOVED Tightline by It Cosmetics - even wore at my wedding - but they changed the formula and the product was drying up in less than two weeks. I wore the super cheap Essence waterproof mascara for a couple of years, then it started irritating my eyes; they could have changed something, or maybe I developed an allergy; I'm not sure. I even thought I had found a holy grail in Lancome's Définicils, but then *I* changed my esthetic and decided I wanted to wear brown to meld better with my strawberry blonde hair.That's how I arrived here. I watched a strawberry blonde Tiktoker discussing her makeup routine, and she uses this in brown. She said it was a true brown, instead of a black-brown like most mascara companies make - which is kind of insulting to us, the customers who want/need a brown, but the companies think we're unsure of this and the difference between black and black-brown is not even noticeable when you have it on. 🙄 I don't know if I would consider this a "true brown", it's definitely not black, but it lacks the warmth and brightness of a true brown - like the brown of Cabaret's mascara (which is beautiful, but doesn't go on well and clumps terribly). The Sky High has a similar applicator, but the formula is much better - more smooth and creamy and not clumpy at all. It's also a tubing mascara, which, if you haven't tried a tubing, you don't know what you're missing! It stays put, but comes off with just warm water and a gentle tug. That is the biggest reason I'm giving it four stars: it DOES lengthen a LOT, without clumping or adding too much volume (I'm not a fan of the voluminous mascaras, myself; I prefer one that improves color and definition).If you like black, or black-brown mascaras that will give you length, without adding volume, and prefer a rubbery, spiny applicator over a thinner brush or spoolie type applicator, this one is for you. I just place more priority on color because I have none on my natural lashes and black can look too harsh on my fair skin and with my light-colored hair.So, off I go! On my quest for the "perfect" mascara...

The Maybelline Sky High mascara line is a great product. I come back to it every couple of mascara cycles. My favorite is actually the primer - it's a super buildable, non-smudge TINTED formula (I can never get the white to fully disappear with traditional white primers) that can easily double as mascara with 2 or more layers (perfect for travel). Much better value than my other go-to primer which costs $26I recently got the Sky High mascara in burgundy, after not buying this line in a while, not to mention not using anything but black or brown mascara since the early 00s. I'm still really impressed with the formula and the burgundy is perfect for making my green eyes pop.

I have light brown, medium length eyelashes that are not super full, this mascara makes it look like I am wearing lashes. If you apply slowly, and a few layers, it really does add length and volume. It comes off clean, not a lot of clumping, and while I prefer the black, the brown looks nice and natural when my hair is lighter.

I've tried so many different brands of mascara, including the expensive ones, but this stuff is really wonderful! It goes on well, doesn't smudge or flake, and really enhances the appearance of my lashes. I use a lash brush after applying for a more natural look and the result is even better than the Lancome that cost 3x as much. Great find!

I wasn’t expecting to love this mascara as much as I do, but wow — it really delivers! The brush is flexible and gets every lash, even the tiny ones in the corners. It gives me length and volume without clumping or weighing my lashes down. I also love that it doesn’t flake or smudge throughout the day. The packaging is super cute too! I’ve already recommended it to a few friends — this one’s a winner.
