DO NOT BUY THESE! I've had an ostomy for 14 years and I've tried just about every product OU there. These are by far the worst. I made the mistake of spending the $1600 that I had on ostomy equipment at the end of the year and bought 100 of these rings. All of the other equipment was Coloplast or other reputable brands. I tried to save money on the barrier rings because the Adept 3M rings are so expensive. Those last for 5 or 6 days. These rings lasted 5 or 6 hours. One of these rings I got to last 2 days. I didn't start using them until I ran out of my old rings. By that time it was too late to return them. I should have tried them earlier, but didn't think they could possibly be this bad. I had to stop using them because they were wasting my expensive Coloplast bags and wafers when they went bad. The problem is that they do not stick to your skin to form a seal that lasts. I typically use a non sting spray to protect my skin after thoroughly washing the application area. I tried these rings with and without the protectant spray. The seal between my skin and the ring always failed never between the ring and the wafer. I even bought some cheap rings from Walmart for about $1 each and they worked 2, 3, or 4 days... Much better than these. Now I'm stuck with about 90 of these worthless rings. DO NOT BUY THEM!!!

After almost 5 months I accidentally figured this out- These rings blew out within day one to day 3. My Mom does the cut out & adhesive glue or ring for me & places the bag on me. I have what I call an insy stoma like my belly button. Some have an outsy. Mom forgot to put adhesive or ring on bag and placed it. Well, it stayed from Monday to Friday & has been staying 3+ days without adhesive. I'm sure rings work fine on stoma's that stick out.
