This book is imaginative. It has a great plot that sucks you in and keeps you until the last 50 pages when you can’t put it down!

Excellent, exciting fictional recitation of Israeli efforts to acquire the uranium pre- cursors of a nuclear weapon . Very well done.

Drawn in, riveted, and then did not want to continue...fearful of what next? Confessed fears to my wife. Then slept!

As a major Ken Follett fan, for me to say this one was disappointing is an understatement. First, it was at least 1/3 longer than necessary.Not the least of the disappointments was that it couldn’t decide whether or not it was a spy thriller or a Hallmark movie - with a plot almost as predictable as a Hallmark movie. In the novel, the Arabs are trying to build a nuclear bomb. Israel hears of it and plots to steal enough plutonium to build one of their own as a bargaining child.Throw in an Arab-ancestry girl whose university professor father’s idealism causes him to treat his daughter as a household possession and servant, and stir in the fact that the daughter falls almost instantly in love with an Israeli intelligence officer plotting to steal the plutonium, mix in one too many coincidences of former students at the university together who all wind up being agents for their own countries, and you have a rather predictable, rather dull spy “thriller.”. He’s written far better, far more enjoyable books. It was a moderately good read, but certainly not the thriller I was expecting.

From EYE OF THE NEEDLE and on, I have never been disappointed reading a Follett novel. Each one seems to be better than the last, and this one is no different.Thank you Mr. Follett

The main character out does James Bond in terms of his exploits and physical capabilities. Triple is a really good read.

Very entertaining. I recommend it To all readers who like thrillersIt is a contribution to Peace Talks.I will reread it.

The threads of this story wrap themselves into a complicated and intricate knot.The ending was a bit abrupt but fitting.

One more very well written Follett story. I am writing this review 48 hours after completing the book and my problem has been choosing my next book, Triple was so exciting that I don't want any less. I am also surprised that after this many hours I can't get over the story. Perfect book if you want to get involved in an exciting and fun story.

Ken Follettの本作品の直前の同じくスパイ小説であるEye of the Needleと比べて一般に知名度も評価も高くないようだが、その理由がわからない。それほど、優れたプロット（実話にも基づいている）、巧みなフィクション的な付加価値（特に主人公であるイスラエルの諜報機関とアラブ系イギリス人女性のあいだのパッション）、的確なボキャブラリーで綴られる心理描写。結論として、パレスチナ問題に関して、イスラエル側とアラブ側が公平に扱われていないこと、有り体に言えば勧善懲悪的なハッピーエンドになってしまっていることが評価を落としているのかも知れないが、それにしても、まさに題名のとおり、イスラエル、アラブ、ロシアの諜報機関がそれぞれ組織として描写され、それぞれの気質や特徴（の違い）がうまく説明されているのには驚く。常識程度では発露できない洞察がそこにはある。海事船舶に関する知識の深さは、Eye of the Needleからも受け継がれている。多作の部類だと思われる著者が一冊の本を書くためにどれだけ取材しているのか考えると驚嘆せざるを得ない。
