Good quality.I use it to have the ODB port free and available when going to the dealer, as they need to connect the scan tool before servicing my Silverado, don't needing to disconnect my third party HUD display.

Great piece of functional kit

I bought an expensive car scanner and I was disappointed that the obd plug of that scanner sometimes doesn't work with my car's OBD2 port right away. So, I bought this extender to plug it on my OBD2 port and leave it there(it's cumbersome if you're driving your car everyday. I don't drive it because the car old and has many issues that I'm fixing alone).So, when I plug my scanner Wifi dongle on this cable, it works immediately.If there's something that you may complain about, it would be the cable not long enough to reach the cup holders on the right side of the driver seat; but it easily reaches the cup holder of the driver's door where you can drop the other end in there.I'll recommend this extender as a way to not always go down underneath the dashboard looking for your OBD2 port.

I purchased this cable as an experiment. I was told that two vehicle monitors could not be run off one OBD port. I did not expect it to work, but it does. My ScanGauge3 and my Ultra Gauge monitors both work fine. The end of the cable that fits into the vehicles OBD port is a touch loose, so eventually, I will need to do something to secure it better.

Original port crumbles, was able to get this connected, relocated to insurance dongle out of the way of my big feet. Versatile so you can relocate used port.
