Innovative 500 Hour Water Activated Flashing Marker Light - Blue

These work well as a tank marker for scuba diving. I pack two since they take up very little room and weight every trip so I always have a new spare if needed. They last 30+ dives each. They’re water activated and shut off automatically. I just wet my finger and touch the contacts to test.

Works as described. It is activated as soon as it is submerged.

they work good. Have had this for over a year and several night dives and it is still working. It is not as bright as others and if visibility is poor, (california waters with 5 foot vis) it is not going to help you.

I purchased this water-activated dive light because it is required for night diving in my location. light can be easily seen and is not so bright as to distract other divers I would say that the light is about the same as you find in an average light stick. My dive buddy was so impressed that she bought one as soon as she saw it. I have only it on a few dives, so I can't attest to the longevity, but since everything regarding this item has been on point, I imagine that 500 hours would likely be close.

Ive had toy dive stick that would only work once, or would not turn off when taken out of water. This is professional quality ( and only 3 bucks more than cheap toy ). it actually glows AND flashes the pulses of light. I use it as a wall notification during laps

Loved the ease of use! Velcro strapped it to my BCD before the first night dive and left it on through my week of diving on a live aboard. Still strobing away while I soak and clean my BCD!

Great little product. I tie it to my J-valve before each dive. Not so bright as to be distracting, but easily observable in a low-light, low-visibility setting. The marker light makes it easy to keep track of your buddy. This would in no way replace a strobe in an emergency situation, but it certainly makes finding and differentiating people easier underwater.

I bought two of these- they are perfect. They slowly flash when in water, also the plastic is glow in the dark yellow. Does not float, works very well but is not extremely bright so if the vis isn't great, you may not see it very well.
