The first copy they sent me did not lock. Because I saw other tl2 users say it worked on their camera I asked for a replacement and it works fine. I guess it depends on the copy you get. The first copy I got locked on my Leica T but not the TL2. If the first one does not work, just asked for a replacement.

This product is an EF mount and an L mount and a tube. There are no electronics, as you should expect at this price. Auto Focus will not work and because it doesn't share any electronic connection, if you do not have an aperture ring, it will default to a single aperture, probably the highest f number possible, and you will have to be okay with that. That said, it does work but it might have reflections within the tube, as they didn't flock it. It's exactly what you should expect for the price. The alternative is around US$200 for any brand with full connectivity.

The EF - L adapter fits perfectly, no play with lenses mounted on the Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6K (Full Frame, L-Mount). I have the passive mount with no electronic pass through for AF/IS. Ideally this mount is for manual lenses. Adapted a Zeiss 21mm f2.8 ZF.2 to EF mount.

As mentioned in other reviews it appears to be the luck of the draw if this will actually lock into the L mount or not. EF side great 5 stars. L side doesn't work. Disappointed

While using my Canon EF telephoto lenses sometimes things happen where there is not enough time to swap out lenses. This adapter allows me to use my Canon EF lenses in manual mode on my Leica TL2. I have tried other adapters that say will work with Leica L mount cameras to include the electronics. The ones I tried did not work with my Leica TL2 electronics even though advertised that they would, only manual mode. I am not sure about all adapters, but the adapters that state the electronics will work with the TL2 -- do NOT work. This adapter works great using the manual settings on my TL2 camera, saving me a lot of money by not having to buy additional Leica lenses.

Nice for the price and fits really well

Works as intended and build quality is good. Be aware though that lenses with an STM motor will not function with this adapter and cannot even be manually focused. Check your lenses are compatible before buying.

This adapter works as described. Got it at a good price. I’m happy with my purchase and would recommend it to others.
