Versatile and Efficient
I recently purchased the Portronics Mport 7 Multiport 7-in-1 USB Hub and I must say, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. The hub is compatible with my laptop, MacBook and Type-C devices, making it extremely versatile. One of the things I really like about this hub is its transfer speed of USB 3.0 and USB 2.0, which means that I can transfer large files quickly and efficiently. Additionally, the convertible heads make it easy to use with a variety of devices, and the grey color gives it a sleek and stylish look. The build quality of this hub is excellent, and it feels sturdy and durable. I have used it for a few weeks now and it has held up very well. I also appreciate the compact size, which makes it easy to carry around with me when I'm on the go.Overall, I highly recommend the Portronics Mport 7 Multiport 7-in-1 USB Hub for anyone looking for a reliable and versatile USB hub. It's a great value for the price and has exceeded my expectations.

Somewhat dissapointed with the USB type-C port speed
Purchased this for use with a new Mac Mini M4, to save the USB3 ports, and also to get an extra HDMI out. While I am still waiting for my Mac Mini to arrive, I tested this with a brandnew NVMe SSD USB3.0 enclosure (PiBox with fan) with a Crucial P3 Pro 1TB SSD. The NVME SSD enclosure when connected directly to my HP ZBook 17's USB3.1-gen2 port, I get decent sequential read speeds (~1050MB/s) but when I connect it through this Portronics 7-in-1 hub's type-C data port, which claims to support 10Gbps throughput, I get a measly 39MB/s, indicating USB1.0 speeds (not even USB2.0 speeds). On careful inspection of the port labels, and some additional research found that this model might have only 1 USB3.0 SS port which is not the type-C data port, but one of the type-A ports. So effectively this has 2 USB2.0 FS ports (one type-A and another type-C for data), and 1 USB2.0 SS port (type-A). However, tested out it's HDMI port, and for me it worked rock solid.

Defective Product and Poor Support
I received a defective product that keeps disconnecting frequently, making it practically unusable. I raised a replacement request immediately, but even after waiting more than 10 days, I didn’t receive the replacement. Now they automatically initiated a refund without any proper resolution.Very disappointed with the product quality and the service experience. Not recommended.

Good memory card reader
Portronics has good products. This one is simple and very straightforward. You plug in memory card, insert in usb port and you are good to go. It has both type A and C ports so can be used as OTG drive on your phone. Although I don't use it often but having that option has sometimes saved me from sticky situations where I was traveling, with bad internet connectivity and needed the images from camera in my phone. Even the Snapbridge wasn't working. It works as specified, the speeds on copy and write are fast. The only suggestions for improvement on this would be:1. The material may feel good to touch but it feels flimsy. Although the body itself is fine but the ports and the plastic that seals it to the body is a tad bit weaker. You can feel that if applied a bit of flex it could damage the port. Maybe a silicone rubber type seal would be better as it can withstand a lot more flex on them before failing.2. The size of the reader could be compacted. This isn't an issue but more of convenience and improvement in ease of use. As this drive is 6.8cm long from port to port, it stick out from your usb port. has mor chance of bumps. In conclusion, I like this product as it delivers and is moderately priced. If the aforementioned suggestions are assimilated in next iteration, this would become perfect. Also, a higher speed variant would also be good. And some color options wouldn't hurt either.
