Cheap and Easy
Bought this to try some astrophotography. It was very easy to use with the included batteries. Plug and play with myA73. A little plasticky in the feel, and lightweight but I don't plan in beating it up. I'd say it was a great value for the price. No frills it just works.

Works great but resets settings on power off.
This item functions perfectly well with my Sony RX-10 iv. It is easy to use. My only complaint is that when you power it off it resets all settings.

Very handy addition
I often use Sony's Creative Assistant app to operate my camera remotely but it can't do everything. Specifically:- extended Bulb mode exposures- timelapses (easier than doing it in-camera)This is a plug-and-play solution for night time photography

Good product
Good product. This is number two for me. I bought JJC wireless setup for my A99ii and was overall pleased with it so I purchased this one for my A6300.My three primary complaints -1) Instructions are printed in micro print. Which I guess is great if you're 17, but not so good if you're 57. They're also not as clear as they could be - this comes from someone who's been interpreting the garbage technology 'manuals' 30 years produced by India and China.2) Quality control - quality in general - seems a little iffy. My first controller has - still - LCD issues. Isn't as bright as the new one and will occasionally fade out. This one seems to be solid. I would seriously consider looking elsewhere if I were a professional. I wouldn't have this product in my kit if I were using it for work.3) The supplied cable is WAY too short. Its perfect if you are going to stand 2' from your tripod/camera setup. Considering what this device is and what its used for, one would think a longer cable would be a normally supplied piece.LCD is reasonably sized and readable even outdoors in the sun. Battery life is pretty good - no complaints. The shape is awkward, slippery and hard to hold onto. I'd much prefer just shaping it like a rectangular remote control and calling it good. Works fine on my A6300 and a99ii.

Build quality not great, broke within 3 months.
I have had this remote trigger for 3 months with light usage. I’ve used this about 5 times for none intensive situations - astrophotography and fireworks. Recently, upon removing the usb the head completely bent - mind you I didn’t yank it or pull on it hard. Luckily, I have a replacement coming. However, it works well for the price but the build quality isn’t great by any means! If this is your last solution go for it but don’t expect it to last awhile.

and comes WITH batteries too!
Works perfectly with my a7iii, cord is long enough but not too long where it gets in the way. the size is also really nice, not too small, hides away nicely in my camera bag. Like being able to turn on a back light and it is the perfect brightness. Huge fan of getting batteries with it too
