I have curly hair and wanted a spray without silicones and sulfates. This is a great product as it’s approved by the curly girl method. I use it on wet hair in my roots, blow dry on low and scrunch out the crunch. It gives the perfect balance of hold and volume. It’s not cheap but I don’t need a lot of product so it lasts. It also smells lovely. TIP: If and when the spray gets sticky and won’t spray, run it under v hot water and it will work again

Been using this hair spray for like 3 years now and I love itttt!! Makes my curls locked into place while also allowing them to be fluffy and light weight!

The spray bottle worked well - this isn't one of those bottles that shoots out product in a little stream. It did provide some nice hold but I found it a little drying and it also left my hair with a "producty" feeling.

It leaves my hair looking crunchy and yucky. And if I use less, my hair just looks frizzy. It may work for some people but not for my hair. Super bummed.

I haven't used hairspray in a long time because it drys out my hair and ruins my curls. Not this stuff! I've never been able to go more than 2 days before my curls are a frizzy flat mess. I'm on day 3 and they look amazing! I used a little half way thru diffusing and a little more after it was dry. It is a little crunchy and sticky at first but once the product is fully dry and you scrunch and shake you are left with bouncy smooth shiny curls. A little bit of this and water is all you need to refresh. The sprayer gives you a fine mist that evenly coats your hair. I do wish for the price that the bottle was a little bigger but for me it's well worth the money. Pics are day 3 curls!

Definitely holds!! Sometimes a little too well if you do a lot! It does cause build up after a bit so it’s not ideal at my roots.

When I read ingredients, I didn't think about red algae, that is, I wasn't remembering what it is. If I'm not mistaken, it's the same red algae that over blooms and causes red tide, which is very toxic and dangerous to breathe. So, when I got it home, I was reluctant to use it, as I have enough issues with the high pollen. Now, that being said, they may use a constituent of the red algae that does not put off that particular chemical compound - I don't know. Also, I did not find the scent pleasant at all. It repelled me and I wouldn't want my hair to smell like that. Last mention, and not really an important one, was it did not come with a cap. Not sure if it was suppose to. So, I can't even address to whether or not it worked holding curls in place.
